I am a clean freak and usually have to spend the better part of my 1st day on the beach cleaning. Not the case with this property! Didn’t have to clean ANYTHING! Our group was 18 women, so the 3 bathrooms was a challenge, but we made it work. The property manager was very attentive. An ice maker would be an awesome addition since the one in the fridge only makes about 8 pieces at a time.

We had a wonderful time. Check in was easy. We loved the location. We didn't need much help from management. House could be a little cleaner.... areas around door knobs and handles need a little deep cleaning, but overall there were no issues with cleanliness. This location and house floor plan are incredible. The elevator was a major help in loading and unloading luggage, groceries etc. We would definitely return to this location.

Unfortunately this home wasn't what we were expecting. The house was filthy. We had to do a significant amount of cleaning to just get it up to par. From the floors to the handrails to the bathrooms, it all had to be cleaned and this was on top of waiting beyond our scheduled check-in time. The house was also missing basic things such as towel racks in the bathrooms, no toilet paper holders, and an inadequate number of dishes. The refrigerator had broken shelving. There was a door missing to one of the closets. There was also an inadequate number of towels. There was no host book to give us any information about the pool locations or information about the area. I reached out twice and both times I received unhelpful responses. For example, I asked for the location of one of the pools and the response was, "They're both in the same area." That was not helpful. The location of this home is great but unfortunately the location was overshadowed by the filth. Work shortages are a problem everywhere but if the owner isn't going to provide clean accommodations, perhaps the price should be lowered.

Great location for our family Beach trip. The facility was plenty roomy for our family of 10, providing comfortable space for togetherness and personal space. The facility is showing some age, but issues uncovered were promptly and professionally addressed. Excellent customer service! The only area of question was managing the garbage, as the cans were full on arrival. We were not advised of the trash pickup schedule, so were not able to take the cans to the curb. I advised the management company of the overflowing trash cans on our departure. (This was a minor issues, provided for improvement purposes only.) All in all, we will keep this on our list for our next visit to Fort Morgan.

Our 3 generation family of 14 enjoyed beautiful weather and time together. Families with small children should be aware that active beach fishermen are catching sharks while families are swimming. The sand and water was gorgeous, but this situation concerned us.

Beautiful home. Easily accommodated 17 of us. Kitchen is very well equipped.

We had the best of time! Everything was perfect! Loved the easy access to the beach, and having a view of the ocean ! The room with bunk beds was the grandkids favorite and the house was defiantly big enough for 16 people and we never felt on-top of each other. Enough chairs and counter space for everyone to sit! Thanks for a wonderful experience for my family ! Superb!!!

We were more than impressed with the house. The area, and the Gulf2Beach company. The house was more than we imagined and was the perfect family get away. Everyone had fun ( ages 5-69!) We loved the house inside and out! We enjoyed the beach everyday. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The elevator made for convenient loading and unloading of our bags. Thank you for sharing this little piece of heaven with us!

I was a bit apprehensive about the Fort Morgan area as my only experience there was probably 15 years ago and I wasn't impressed. Well, things certainly have changed as the beaches were great and all of the houses seemed on the newer side. I will definitely visit Ft Morgan again. The house was great. Lots of room, comfortable, clean, working appliances, etc. My only small complaint is that it really didn't come with much extra by the way of small items. Thinks like salt & pepper, cooking oil, limited dishes, limited cups, limited cookware, etc. We made due with trips to the store as needed. All in, or needs were met. It's not a huge deal. We would stay again.

We took the grandparents with us on a Fall Break beach trip and I lost count at how many times someone said “this place is perfect”. Right on the beach, not crowded whatsoever, but still close enough (15-20 min drive) to the dinner spots at Orange Beach. The house was in excellent condition, rooms were exactly as described. We didn’t need all 10 of the bunk beds but it would be a great option for multiple families vacationing together . Pools are great. We definitely recommend the Shiloh House!

We loved our stay. We had four families and 18 people, so we ended up moving some of the mattresses in the bunk room to the floors in the other rooms, which actually worked quite well. Being located right on the beach was great, and we didn't have to share the beach with too many other people. Communication with the hosts was excellent as well, they were quick to respond to any issues that arose. The only complaint (as many have noted) is that the bathrooms need more towel hooks and the kitchen needs better frying pans. They had a dozen or so frying pans, but only 2 or 3 were usable. Without many towel hooks in the bathrooms, we had to hang our wet towels and swimsuits wherever we could (railings, bed posts, curtain rods, etc).

Over all a very nice place, our family enjoyed our time there. I would suggest a few more towels due to the small washer and dryer that took a while to dry things. We definitely would come back the location was wonderful! Thanks!

With the layout of the home we all had plenty of room for our own space, but also lots of room in the common areas! The kitchen/living room were spacious for a family of 13 to cook & enjoy each other. There is pantry/closet space for everyone to put away their clothes etc for the week. You can’t get any less steps to the ocean! The elevator was a huge plus for luggage & grocery trips. The views are perfect! Our family ranges in ages 5-65 & it was perfect for everyone!

Overall, we enjoyed the beach house. The pots and pans were low quality which made cooking and cleaning a bigger chore. We rented this unit because of the bunk room for the kids but there was no entertainment nearby.

Had a wonderful time at this beach house. Didnt know this was a duplex until we got there. Was not looking forward to staying in a duplex but it worked out fine. The house was clean, very roomy and a great set up. If I were to complain about anything it would be there were NO hooks, towel racks or anything in any of the bathrooms!! NOTHING to hang towels, clothes anything on. That was very annoying…so we had to hang our towels over doors etc. also..could use a new set of pots and pans….they have seen their day. All and all had a great stay

We stayed in this house with 3 full family (6 adults 6 kids). The house was the perfect size for this group. We had a bedroom for each couple and the bunch room for the kids was awesome! I wouldn’t add another adult couple to this home but you could add more kids! The house was in great shape and the location is RIGHT on the beach! Can’t beat it! The house did not have a hood BBQ (and old charcoal grill) which made it really hard to cook for our large group. The washer dryer is apartment size so just plan accordingly. It also isn’t well stocked with things like sand toys or things for the kids to play with. However these are not big deals and you just need to plan accordingly! The rental company was great to work with! Super responsive to all our questions! They were great communicators! The house master suite was huge and beautiful! Everything was very well kept the kitchen was great and lots of seating between the island and the kitchen table. This house was perfect for our trip and I can’t recommend it enough!

The property was amazing with gorgeous views of the gulf. The house was very kid friendly with plenty of beds. The white sand beaches and clear water was even better than we expected when we booked the house. The house is a duplex but being inside of it you would never know it.

We so enjoyed our peaceful, restful stay at this lovely property. It was beautifully decorated and immaculate and so quiet and right on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed it inside and out and the deck was our favorite spot. We would love to stay here again!!

We rode out Ida our first couple of days. No flooding. House was great. Solid construction. Minor leak around a door, but wasn't unexpected with that level of wind and rain. Terrific beach access, well stocked, our third stay at this property. We like the upgrades to the kitchen and bedrooms. The master mattress is my only complaint--like sleeping on a slab of granite--hard as a rock--recommend upgrading to something more middle of the road in softness. Otherwise terrific. 5 Stars.

However, the earliest the provider could get there was Tuesday afternoon. We managed fine since cell service was decent. However, it seemed like it should be the job of the management company to spend the better part of a day waiting on, meeting and assisting the technician....rather than a paying, vacationing guest’s responsibility. It turned out that the new modem, installed a week earlier, was improperly set up.
Also, the house was recently - and beautifully - repainted, but since then, no towels bars or hooks have been reinstalled in any of the bathrooms. Slightly inconvenient.

We enjoyed our week long family vacation, we sunned and played in the water and sand. We used the kitchen to cook, the drawer closest to the dining room table is not bolted properly and therefore makes it difficult to open and close, just a few screws will fix that. The oven is brand new give it the full 15 mins to heat up. The drier takes 2 cycles to dry the clothes, this is normal of a small stackable unit. The grill is charcoal and clean. This whole unit is clean and up to date. We were very happy with our choice to rent this house. The rental management company and owners are top notch and we will be renting from them again. This unit also comes with a crock pot which was a blessing. I had already brought my own, but it would have been nice to use if I needed it.

There were five adults, one teen, & two kids so this house was large for what we ended up needing but we loved it! The elevator, though really small, was a major plus for sending heavy bags up & down though a few times it didn’t work & we realized this was probably because a door upstairs wasn’t closed properly. We did have an issue with the door code not working & we all needed to leave the house but didn’t want to leave it unlocked. It took a while to get a new code for it so we left the house later than we wanted & didn’t get where we were going at the time we wanted. The furniture in the screened in area needs replaced because they were uneven & we were afraid to sit on them but didn’t really need to. I wish the upstairs balcony would’ve been screened in & I would’ve totally slept out there! The bed in that room was really hard so sleeping on a pallet out there would’ve been about the same but I didn’t want to get eat up by mosquitoes. There is a tennis court, two community pools, & a kiddie pool but we never used them so I can’t speak to their conditions. Nice quiet neighborhood & everyone is respectful so you don’t have to worry about anyone taking your items if you leave your tent & stuff on the beach at night. This is the third time I’ve gone to fort Morgan & love the beaches & how they are not crowded like orange beach. The Hang Out just about thirty minutes away is a must if you like outdoor live music, dancing, & a good time though it’s crowded. They also have family activities during the day & it’s directly on the beach (technically orange beach I think) so you can play beach sports & such. It’s only about 15 minutes to gas, groceries, a Dollar General, & restaurants though we couldn’t figure out if any actually delivered. All in all a great place & this house will be excellent if you have a group of kids sin
