My family and I booked a last-minute vacation in Pacific Grove at the Point Break property. The property was beyond our expectations with very large bedrooms, a large living room, and a large kitchen/dining room area. The property is located a block from the ocean and allowed us to take some great walks along the water during our stay. the property is also about 3 blocks aways from the downtown Pacific Grove area which is very quaint with many restaurants and shops. The property is also only 5 minutes away from Monterey and 15 minutes away from Carmel. It was a nice stay for our family. The only issues we had were the bathrooms including the showers were not well cleaned before our stay, and the outside trash cans were full. We cleaned the bathrooms ourselves, and we called the property management company to have the trash company come to pick up the trash.

The manager was very communicative (even though we needed nothing during our stay, it was nice that they checked in). The house is in a perfect location: couple blocks to Lover’s Beach, 20 minute walk to the aquarium and Cannery Road, and short drives to Carmel, Bixby Bridge and many other spots. The house was nicely updated and clean. Perfect size for our family of 5! Would definitely stay here again!

the managers keep this home very clean and everything worked. the windows allow the cool air in and so the lack of a/c is not a problem. the bedrooms all have king beds and the bathrooms are clean and modern. nice home!

We spent 3 wonderful days at this beautiful property in Pacific Grove. The home was lovely and the location was central to all the amenities of Pacific Grove and Monterey. The staff were very friendly and confirmed we had made it and were satisfied. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic house and the perfect location. Step out the front door turn left: Lighthouse Ave (shops, cafes, restaurants, Monarch Pub) turn right: Pacific Ocean. Also worth noting, the neighborhood is so quiet.

We had a siblings weekend.. 5 of us. We did activities from Carmel to Monterrey. Great central location. Nice places to eat near by.i would only mention that the rental company requests no shoes in the house, so bring some slippers as it’s all LVT and the floors and especially the steps are very slippery!

This place was perfect for our family gathering of three adult couples. We loved the comfortable furnishings, high-end appliances and 3 bedrooms, all with king size beds. It was beautiful and comfortable, plus a convenient location.

Four sixty something friends from college got together from all over CA in Point Break for our 3-4 year reunion and we had a lovely time. The house is very well appointed, excellent location, lots of good conversation areas. We stayed three nights and the only very small recommendation would be to add some oven mitts/pot holders -- there may have been some but we couldn't find them lol. Would highly recommend.

Property is as advertised. Overall clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everywhere in Pacific Grove and even aquarium in Monterey was only a mile walk. Our group was 3 adult couples so having kingsize beds in each room was nice. We had two small sports cars that fit in garage, though one side was very tight. Driveway/street clearance also an issue. Carpeting in bedrooms is becoming a little worn but we would definitely stay here again!

The house was the cleanest we have seen and we have seen many. The open construction on the first floor is a great contrast to some other rentals with small rooms that defeat social gatherings. The WiFi is truly high speed. I measured no less than 50 Mbps to over 200 on the first floor. Some rentals call 3 Mbps high speed. We had a couple of minor problems which were fixed very promptly in a friendly and professional manner. The kitchen is well equipped for a rental. It is close to the ocean, ocean walks, good restaurants, Pauls bakery and the aquarium. We had a great time and hope to repeat the experience next year.

The property was clean, conveniently located and well appointed. We were traveling back and forth to the Women's US Open, and we couldn't have picked a better place. It was convenient to the beach, the small town of Pacific Grove and the Pebble Beach courses. Everyone was so nice and the property management company was amazing!

This house was a perfect place to spend my 50th birthday with dear friends. Pacific Grove is a great beach town and the house is an easy walk to everything. We loved the fireplaces in the master bedroom and living room - easy to use. Super comfy beds and a great kitchen with everything you need. We would 100% stay here again.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Point Break. Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Property manager was great at checking in, and readily available. The location can’t be beat, with so many attractions and wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Just steps from the shoreline and trail along the coast, Point Break was well appointed for our family. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well-stocked, and our kids enjoyed the games that were available. We went for many walks along the shore - saw dolphins, otters, harbor seals and many birds - and enjoyed tide-pooling during low tide. Steps to Lighthouse Ave with its many wonderful restaurants and coffee shops and close to Carmel. Part of our group took a day trip to Pinnacles National Park. Pacific Grove is a wonderful town - fun to look at all of the old early 20th c. homes in the neighborhood. We definitely recommend this property and location!

There were some issues with the door keypad that never got resolved. The washing machine was not working and they knew it because it was unplugged and the cord was hanging over a short wall.
Overall the property itself was really nice with the exception of being in need of a replacement of all the carpet. The layout of the home is exceptionally good and the location was optimal.

The house was in a magnificent location-close to the beach, restaurants and walking trails. The kitchen was well stocked-which isn’t always trued with rentals. The bedrooms were nice-comfy beds. Sanctuary rentals were helpful in making sure everything went smoothly. The carpets were a little grungy but I am sure it is due to all the foot traffic. The yard does look bigger on the photos then it actually is but the fire table was nice to sit around.
