We enjoyed Aalders hotel and staff very much. Nice room, great breakfast and super friendly staff. Perfect location.

No air-condition in the room is the only minus.

Beautiful style and attention to detail, and lovely colours, in all the rooms. Delicious breakfast in elegant dining room, with such a helpful member of staff who gave good advice on transport / places to go etc. Comfortable bed, and super modern bathroom, We also loved the 'honesty bar', which had everything we needed. And the location - perfect, so close to museums, so peaceful : I lay in bed in the morning, listening, not to traffic buy to birdsong! Perfect!

Friendly, helpful staff, small but a well-laid out, clean room. Good location for walking around the city.

We weren't expecting it to be quiet because of its central location, but we stayed at the weekend and it was noisy most of the night - out on the street, by the front door of the hotel, and people coming in late. It's worth factoring in I think if you're not visiting Amsterdam purely for the nightlife! Our room was facing onto the street above the main door - I'm sure there are quieter rooms.

The room was small but well appointed and the bathroom was newly renovated and extremely clean. The location was very convenient and the staff were helpful and accommodating.

Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice but not overwhelming

On Saturday we had a sewage smell in the bathroom and by Saturday evening it was all through the room. Sunday morning it had gone not great when you needed a goodnights rest due to running a marathon the following day

Very pleasant staff, helpful and kind. Nice room, tiny but definitely sufficient for me. The breakfast room was very pleasant too.

Everything was great

The hotel is in the Museum Quarter which is very pleasant and quiet, a quick walk to the Rijks or the Van Gogh museum with the Covert hall nearby, tram stop around the corner which will take you into the city centre, friendly staff nicely sided rooms it is to be recommended.

Hotel Aalders is in an excellent location near a ton of the popular museums, bars and restaurants. Friendly staff and easy check in/out process.

The pillows on the bed were not very comfortable.

Location is perfect, tram around the corner , staff go beyond what is expected. Breakfast selection was excellent. Would definitely stay at the hotel on my return, perfect in every way.
