The place was very spacious and a great location. Wave on Wave needs a deep cleaning including all kitchen supplies. We hand washed everything before using it because everything felt greasy or had food stuck to it. The main shower was backed up with standing water and was not fixed while we stayed. It would also be helpful to have a working icemaker in the freezer.

We rented golf carts for the week and found the house easily accessible to the pool (7 minutes), restaurants and the beach (5 minutes). Chesapeake properties was very easy to work with and responsive to our questions. Overall, a great experience!!

There were many small things that could have been and should have been fixed in the house. The property sleeps a large number of people but they did not have enough kitchen things or blankets for all. We did not let this hamper our stay. Beautiful home and great for a bigger family. The community was quiet, as the house was located in the newer developed part. The private beach is located in the sister- gated community, but is worth the 5 min drive. Clean, calm, clean bathroom facilities, and perfect waves for young children. We all had a great time, it was hard to leave!

The layout is wonderful.Family room is spacious, kitchen has lots of counter space, the table and counter stools sat our extended family without feeling at all crowded. The house is equipped with tv service, so we were able to watch the NBA finals on the big screen. Wi-fi worked well throughout the house. Kitchen is well-equipped with both a regular coffee maker and Keurig. There are various pots/pans of different sizes & decent fry pans (which rentals usually never had so we always had to bring our own). Plates, cups, mugs--it is like a home away from home. There were 2 separate fridges for drinks. We utilized the pool &priv beach. House is CLEAN, no smell. Decorated very tastefully. A/C works well in all areas. The upstairs sitting area worked well as the teenage hangout for gaming, and thet adults hung out in the family room which felt so open w/high ceilings. I was surpised at how spacious each room was--they did not use a special lens to make the rooms look bigger--they are pretty true-to-size like exactly like the pictures!Men golfed & women did the outlet mall +Crabbing at Kiptok.A few things to keep in mind when renting--1. Mosquitoes in CC summer--You HAVE to spray yourself even if you are going to go outside for longer than 3 minutes. We did not have any of the bugs come inside thanks to the double door foyer (SO smart!), 2.Gas grill in the covered patio area is not located in the best place--smoke from the grill tends to hang out in and around the area without exiting outside. A fan would be useful if you are grilling a lot. 3. There is an automatic light system for the 2nd floor landing area that we didn't figure out how to turn off, so if you have a kid sleeping on the 2nd floor sofabed who needs darkness, the ambient light might keep him/her up. 4. Dryer takes longer than usual to dry towels so don't overload

The house was clean and in a very private gated neighborhood conveniently located near town and the beach. The house had a slight mildew smell upon our arrival, but it seemed to dissipate as the week went on. The house had everything we needed, although only had one set of twin sheets for 2 twin beds, but we made it work. Overall, great stay!
