Excellent location , beautiful cottage - extensive communication from host - thoroughly recommend

The location and aspect are amazing and the presentation of the cottage enhanced the beachside atmosphere and set the scene for an intriguing and relaxing stay. We want to book again with other members of the family.

Amazing location and views. Perfect for us as swimming nuts! Lovely cottage and private garden. Comfy, stylish and spotless. We had perfect weather so it was more like the Med than the Channel. Nice and quiet with just the sound of the sea but only a short cycle to Deal for shops and restaurants. Fabulous walks to St Margaret's and South Foreland Lighthouse and vintage tea room.

Absolutely nothing

Location was superb and three good pubs within easy walking distance. Property was clean and cosy and well equipped.

Although the description informed us of only one handrail on the staircase, it would have felt safer with two. Mirror in the loft bedroom would have helped

Great location right by the beach. The cottage itself had more than enough room for 2 people.

Unfortunately, there were building works taking place at the neighbouring cottage, for the duration of our stay. We weren’t notified of this before or during our stay. Messaged the property host asking if they were aware of the ongoing works, but we received no reply. As the work started quite early each morning before 8am, there was no chance of a “relaxing” lie in. There were roofers overlooking our cottage, which wasn’t ideal as 1) we were looking forward to using the garden with privacy, and 2) the scaffolding was right by our bedroom window. We were also surprised at the lack of basic supplies (salt/pepper/tea/sugar) having read reviews from previous guests receiving welcome packs etc. Sadly this left us overall disappointed with our stay.
