First of all the caravan advertised was not the caravan we stayed at, it wasn’t even on the caravan park advertised. We were double booked moved to a completely new caravan park in a smaller caravan that wasn’t suitable on the golden sands caravan park. We were then moved to another caravan which we had to wait again for until it was ‘cleaned’. We then were told this was a caravan where somebody was living and they’d just moved out, leaving all their possessions on shelves and in drawers and leaving us very little space for our things. We eventually moved our clothes into caravan at 1830 after arriving at 1400. The caravan was grubby and not cleaned to high standard at all. There seemed to be an awful lot of flies in the caravan which we sprayed and killed before leaving to go to the beach. 4 hours later we returned and there were twice as many as before. And this happened all way through our stay. The cups plates and utensils were filthy. The toilet seat loose and fell off. The fridge was rusty on the outside and the oven was in a poor state. The location of the park was ok, close to beach and entertainment. That is the only real positive I can leave for the caravan we stayed in. Very disappointed after the stressful 18 months we’ve all endured due to covid and would not recommend this to any body.
