We booked the superior room with a view and wow, what a view! This hotel is right in the Main Street. Having the terrace off the room was amazing however it isn’t very private haha. It was great to people watch from our room and have drinks before dinner. It’s a bit loud through the night if you have the window open which is likely if the AC is not on during your visit (check with hotel because Italy is particular). Overall it was a comfortable stay so if you like to be around the buzz and have amazing views it’s a great option!

Breakfast very poor, no vegetables, every day the same. No coffee or tea maker in the room, the beds very uncomfortable, cold in the room, need to wait long time to get hot water. They ask so high prices only for the view of lake, the rest very poor.

no bar fridge or tea making facilities in the room, no ice that was easy to request.

Very good and spacious room with enjoyable bathroom. Great view at the lake. I was positively surprised and enjoyed my stay. Especially loved the full hotel breakfast and not just coffee. If I come back to Lake Como, will enjoy staying at this hotel again.

Would have loved if TV had Netflix or YouTube option since ordinary channels are 99% in Italian.

Located near the ferry wharf the room has a spectacular view of the lake. Lots and lots of souvenir shops, clothing shops, jewelry shops and restaurants. A few minute walk distance there is the Melzi Villa, well worth a visit. A simple ferry ride or a more involved lake tour is just there. OR you can just sit at the balcony and enjoy the view.

The timber floors were a bit squeaky but characteristic of any similar property.
