Aetoma has character and soul. Located in the prettiest square in the Old Town, run by a dedicated family with a lot of heart and love, it is a perfect place to stay in and discover Napflio.. and you can start your day with a hearty breakfast - probably one of the best in Greece - prepared by the wonderful landlady who was born in the mansion. Akis, the young generation of the family managing the hotel leaves no question unanswered in a most friendly and professional way.

Everything is to like about this family hotel! The other reviews are already telling what we have experienced! I'd say the most important thing about our stay here were the hosts. Incredibly friendly, fully prepared with all the info you ever need about Nafplio and its surroundings. Well that's something that's priceless, for everything else there is masterc..😊 Thank you Aetoma Hotel Crew for everything!

There is no such thing that we didn't like.. When booking I read a review about the ringing bells of the church behind the Hotel (whit complaints of loudness 😊).. Just FYI wherever you are staying in the old town of Nafplio there will be church bells.. And it's a beautiful experience hearing them .

- The receptionist was very helpful, helped with carrying the luggage up the stairs and then explained everything to do in Nafplio. Each and every staff member we met afterwards were of the same service standard, incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. - Best breakfast ever, we asked for it to be set up on our balcony, it was amazing. they ask you how you want your eggs the day before, and it’s so extensive, ranging from cakes to savoury pastry, bread , eggs, fruits, yoghurt, coffee, tea, freshly pressed orange juice! - Room airconditioning is perfect, no heavy cold air in your face the room is perfectly conditioned for the temperature you choose. - comfortable and large bed with feather pillows! - all sorts of toiletries available in the bathroom. - located in the heart of Nafplio old town amidst the shops and boutiques, so close to everything, if you close the balcony doors you wont hear a thing!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great hotel in a wonderful location right in the historic centre. You do have to park a few hundred metres away and walk to the hotel, but it is worth it, excellent breakfast too.

The Aetoma is a beautiful restored mansion in the heart of Napflio’s Old Town. Pan and her son Akis are warm, wonderful people who immediately make you feel welcome in their lovely small hotel. We are repeat customers, having stayed there for a few nights fourteen years ago. It is the BEST place to stay in all of Nafplion and highly recommended. Pam’s breakfast is like no other - it is enormous with everything you could ever wish for: eggs made to order, spinach pie, cheese pie, fruit, yogurt, bread basket, cake, coffee, and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything was absolutely perfect!! The room was charming and decorated impeccably. Pan has the best taste and an eye for detail. Akis welcomed us warmly and gave us a map and pointed out areas of interest. Nafplion is a great place to visit. So much to see nearby, too. Thank you for your hospitality! We shall return.❤️

Absolutely nothing, it was pure perfection

We adored this property. The decor is amazing, location on the square is pleasant, especially if you have a balcony. The bathroom decor is modern and sophisticated. The breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. The hotel owner, who was born in this house is courteous and a gracious host. How we loved our stay in this remarkable home! One of the highlights of our trip to Greece!

It is somewhat inconvenient to park down near the port in the parking lots. However that is the price for staying in the historic city.
