Very comfortable house, very clean inside and well appointed - everything we needed was provided.

The parking space is too small - we couldn’t get our estate car into the space, so had to pay 16.50 per day in a nearby car park. The outside space could be a bit nicer - we weren’t inclined to use it due to the mess from the seagulls.

Rooms and decor were furnished well. Nice distance to shops, beach etc.

The reason I have scored so low is because of the car parking space available at the property. It is situated at the rear of the property and was incredibly difficult to manoeuvre into. The real issue is that one you are in the space, noone can get in or out of the car. The space is TINY. When I called Cornish Escapes who rent the property out to complain, I was told it was my responsibility to look on their website and CHECK the measurements of the car parking space beforehand! In all my years of holidaying in this wonderful country, I have never needed to check the measurements of the car parking space allocated to a house we're staying in. When I mentioned this to the operative, I was informed that many of their customers check this detail before booking? It was our first time in St Ives and it MAY BE the norm as there are many a narrow street, however, it would be super helpful to have this fact highlighted somewhere. I mentioned this fact and their reply was, "What is your query?" So instead, we had to pay £16.70 per day (we were there 5 days) to pay for parking situated next to a launderette a couple of hundred yards up the street. This wasn't a cost we had factored into our stay and certainly left a bad taste in our mouth, both with the parking and the customer service.

Very close to the main streets and the water front. Beautiful interiors, large comfortable rooms. Very well equipt kitchen.

Parking space is tiny and would only fit a very small car. We manged to get our regular sized car into it but needed to climb out the boot!

Absolutely no help whatsoever, error made on date booked, quickly tried to rectify, but no assistance, no change the date, so beware they will just take your money!

Bed was really comfortable, facilities high standard

Parking space extremely small, at the back of the property. I have a Mini which JUST fitted in, any larger car would not fit, nor any larger person. The door opened a crack and I slid out. We had to empty the car by climbing into the boot to pass the bags out. It's also on a narrow street on a hill. Not impossible with our car but expect could be with some. Great to have onsite parking despite the challenge of getting into it.

Clean and great location

Wooden shutters at the windows banged at night waking me up. There is no bottle opener.
