The breakfast was superb, served by our host and hostess outside on their lovely terrace. Fruit, yoghurt, pastries, jam - all were lovely, and the coffee was good. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely shower. The location is very good - just a ten minute drive to Saumur. We discovered a brilliant local restaurant (Restaurant La Brèche) near the campsite, which offers marvellous food and service. And we also visited Rive Gauche restaurant in Saumur, on the host's recommendation - definitely a must for any visitor! Finally, there's the swimming pool at La Folière, which was more of an essential during the recent hot weather - an absolute delight! Thank you so much, Catherine and Francis!

Only that the bedroom was uncomfortably hot throughout our stay (although the lovely old house is nice and cool downstairs) - nothng the host could control, as the temperature was soaring above 35C, but it made sleep difficult.
