Great host in a great location

We loved Cavell House and found the proprietor to be kind, friendly, very helpful and a great cook! I was feeling a bit queezy from the ride to Inverness and she made me a delightful cup of ginger tea. She made us an early breakfast on the day we had to leave and made taxi arrangements. The bed was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property!

Camilla is an exceptional host. The room had a nice view of the river Ness; it was spacious, clean and well furnished, with lots of amenities - we loved it! Breakfast was really tasty.

Beautifully furnished (Jacobean style) room but with all mid cons. Liked having a fridge in our room.

Very clean and spacious en-suite room. Our host Camilla was very helpful and accommodating. Fantastic breakfast for the price which includes smoked salmon. Short 10 min walk to station area where most restaurants and bars are located.

It was close to perfect for the 2 days we were in Inverness

We had two very nice breakfasts. When we arrived we were made welcome and offered tea and coffee which was greatly appreciated after our long journey. The owner was very friendly and we were made to feel very much at ease. The location was very good, a short walk into the centre of Inverness along a path beside the river. From our bedroom window we had a view of the river and a park.

Camilla was a delightful host. A wonderful breakfast was served to order each morning. Assistance was given to help us procure a taxi when needed. If I ever return to Inverness, I will stay at the Cavell House .

Great location and the view was beautiful

Air con or fan in room but they were in a heat wave. Not normal weather for Inverness

We really enjoyed our stay at Cavell House. Camilla was very attentive and kind. We loved the breakfast and the room was very cozy and clean. I would repeat my stay if we come back to Inverness.

The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, she gave me great recommendations and I felt very looked after and welcomed. The room was lovely, the shower had great pressure and the bed was really comfortable. The location was right next to the river so it was quiet and very easy to walk into the town.
