We stayed a whole week and used the house as a central hub to ‘do’ the Great Ocean Road. The location is excellent, truly excellent to discover the GOR. Apolly Bay has all you need and a good few restaurants, too. The house is very light, spacious, with lovely views and comfortable seating areas and bathrooms as well as a suitably equipped kitchen. We did not have our dogs with us but the garden seemed excellent for pets. Owner communicated promptly and value for money is unparalleled.

It was bright, airy, clean, spacious and the view fabulous.

That there was no access to the back yard from the house to let our dog out. We had to put her on a lead to put her in the backyard. No big deal but would have been better.

the view was amazing. location great to walk to doggie beach and even into town, but quiet enough. bed was very comfortable. lounge area great to chill and watch tv when the rains came.

only thing was the backyard was not ideal for dogs. there was no access to the backyard from inside the house. being summer and hot when we arrived we were reluctant to let the dogs roam at all as we were worried about snakes in the large amount of shrubbery around the perimeter. in cooler months it wouldn’t be so much an issue.

Upstairs was fantastic, stunning views from both sides. Within walking distance of the beach.

Taking our shoes of on to a very cold floor downstairs. Coming down the stairs, without shoes on and no rail, was a bit of a worry

Upstairs living area was so light and open, with amazing views. Very home like space, which was easy to settle into. Easy walk down to the beach.

Backyard was tidy and secure for dogs, however dogs aren’t able to access the backyard from inside. Overall was worth the stay.

The living area is very comfortable, well designed and decorated, cosy with a gas fireplace and a beautiful view of the ocean. The outdoor deck is great to have brekkie or a BBQ.

The bedrooms on the lower level were cold. An en-suite would’ve been better. Kids felt they were at camp with all the bunker beds. I think this can be more tastefully decorated.
