This is my first foreign trip, and as an Indian I lived in this type of hostel for the first time.I like this budget hostel. The rooms, cleanliness, and owner's friendly behavior are all very good. I would like to come here again.

The location was nice, clean, quiet, and not too far of a nice walk through the neighborhood to the edge of the center. There were clean showers, multi lingual staff, and clear rules to keep quiet after 10 PM.

The only drawback was the difficulty finding the building late at night from the main street - it was not quite so obvious, a sign somewhere below the walkway might help.

Hostel offers a Kitchen where to cook. Appreciated as with friends you might want to cook together and not go to pricey restaurants in zurich

Owner very unpolite and unfriendly. There is no code of conduct so people in bedrooms do whatever they want with no respect. I woke up multiple times and there was a person letting run his/her alarm for many minutes before I had to ask if it could be shut down.

The reception is bad, it was the worst in my travels experience, it’s like you are staying free at his hostel (charity) he was tough and very serious, giving you orders without any smile or friendly attitude. I said to him good morning but he didn’t even replied!!!!! and also you will pay 2.5 or 3 CHF which is not mentioned. the reception staff he has to get a soft skills training of hospitality, location also bad and no services nearby. I was regretted that I stayed there.

Comfy and cozy. Access to kitchen.

Other guests sometimes were un mannered or un clean. A bit crowded.

Hi! The place is easy to find..The cleaness of the facilities, the kindness for the staff ..I really appreciate.

Good location, clean, shop, pizzeria, bus stations 7 min walk, 15 min by bus to the city center. Nice view, terrace, cozy interior. Very kind staff. Free tea, fully equipped kitchen. Quiet area.

Parking for the fee. The the rest is fine.

Most friendly receptionist. Close proximity to city center. Very clean place.

I liked that the receptionist accepted me at 3am despite checking in WAY PAST their business hours. I had uncontrolled circumstances happened along the way which pushed my arrival back so I appreciate being welcomed at an ungodly hour. Thank you. I also appreciate being able to work until late at night in peace and quiet in the common area (altho lights off).

Checkout is at 10am BUT IT WAS NOISY AT 9AM from the cleaning! I mean, could they not wait to clean AFTER GUESTS have checked out? They will not allow you to stay in the common area AFTER 10AM. Strictly. Im not sure if it was the Dutch (the other person was Dutch) or the Swiss (as a Swiss establishment) but it was rather rude how I was shooed away. My trip back was a couple of hours later so I thought to kill it sitting in the common area- but it was not allowed. I have never encountered this before so that was interesting. (Still gave it a 10 because it might just be the way things are in this part of the world)

it’s super close to the ETH, great for students coming from out of town. has beautiful views over the city of Zurich.

You need about 15 min to go to the center by bus but the bus station is 3 min from the hostel and that was good
