The peace and tranquility. This beautiful cottage was an hidden GEM. The Hot tub.. But due to the rain we didn't use unfortunately, but will definitely be returning.

Nice quiet location within easy reach of amenities. Didn’t have to leave cottage if you didn’t want to , everything you need was there

The allocated car park space was taken up by someone else on arrival, had to park on a nearby street

The location was great. Lovely village to stay in, on the river, variety of shops and eating houses and close to the motorway for easy access in getting around.

We loved the size or the property as its very deciving from the outside. The garden and hot tub are private and not overlooked. It has everything you need!

The building site as the view from the patio. Sadly for this property they have started building what looks to be new houses on the other side of the wall to the property, which would have been an open field with a lovely view prior to the start of building work.

Absolutely stunning cottage! Lovely owner, so helpful and welcoming. Fantastic stay and we will 100% be back in the near future. Excellent value for money. The beds were amazing! We had the best nights sleep in a long time. Special place. Would highly recommend! Thank you for having us!

I liked the fact that it had a hot tub although we didn’t end up using this but it looked fab and wasn’t overlooked. Fully stocked kitchen so you can cook should you want to. Towels and toiletries provided. Owners were great.

when we arrived someone had parked in our (the cottages) designated parking bay but after a quick call to the owner they called the person who promptly moved their car elsewhere so that we could park. Owners were lovely and helpful in this respect. Overall the property was fine and clean and well equipped but really “old fashioned” style decor in every room but that’s just personal taste - some people love it, whereas I prefer a minimalist look but that didn’t take away from the charm and location of the property.

The cottage has a lovely secluded little garden and sitting outside in the early evening sunshine with a view of the surrounding countryside was very enjoyable, - particularly after walking up Pendle Hill in the afternoon :-)

The cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. We had a slight problem with hot water to the kitchen sink but the hot tub, shower in the bathroom and the dish washer were fine.
