Fully self contained. Even a rice cooker and coffee pod machine! Super clean and friendly staff.

Location was good. Was handy to be able to use the facilities (Onsen) from the View Hotel across the road. Air-conditioner was good to keep room warm.

No curtains to block the street lighting at night, so very light when trying to sleep. Not sure on the Japanese bedding style compared with Western style. Washing up in kitchen difficult with no sink plug.

Great location in Nozawa, just a short 5 minute walk to town centre. The staff at the nearby View Hotel were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend

Although not an issue for my family, the access into the unit is via a small very skinny stair case which covers with snow and ice. If you have mobility issues please be aware

The apartment was very dirty. The toilet was dirty and had hairs, on top of the fridge there were food leftovers, the bins were disgusting etc. Also it is a ground floor and there are no curtains, so even if the windows are not fully transparent you can feel uncomfortable being seen from the outside, plus mornings there is a lot of light so if you cannot sleep with light I don’t recommend it.

TV at the side of the table which means we need to adjust it so that we can watch TV from bed, but this is not a big issue

the apartment is actually managed by the hotel across the road so have partial access to the facilities (onsen) there as well. we arrived in the morning, and host kindly let us check in / leave baggage into the room, as we went skiing. the room itself - i think is good value for the money.

the access to the door is via a somewhat narrow stairs. the room was just 'not cold' with air conditioning turned to 31 degree.
