Should have been told about the scaffolding outside the bedroom window. Also, the heat was full on since the last occupant had broken the radiator fitting. Should have been fixed. Also should be told at the time of booking about a live music night which is not good for sleeping especially after an international flight!

Leuke typisch Engelse pub aan de haven met op zondag life muziek. Druk en gezellig. Prima appartement met goede bedden. Op een kwartier rijden van Dover.

Wij konden daar niet eten, vermoedelijk vanwege de drukte en life muziek (?). Er zijn wel gelegenheden in de omgeving. Hetzelfde geldt voor het ontbijt.

Lovely and clean great location friendly staff

Super clean, very friendly and welcoming staff and the pub was super cosy. The little touches such as water, coffee and breakfast snacks in the room is a nice touch and the quality of linen, soft furnishings and towels were of hotel standards, exceeded expectations!

The mattress needs replaced, a tad springy with minimal padding, resulting in a sore back the next day 🙁

Service et personnel impeccable. Propreté de la chambre et gentillesse de l hôtesse. Petit déjeuner possible et très bon, au restaurant à côté.

Nous apprecions beaucoup. Mais a eviter si vous n appréciez pas l ambiance et le bruit d un pub ayant de la live music le vendredi et le samedi soir.

Was very clean and accommodating. Owner was amazing and very friendly. Had issues with hot water and heating first night, but were given heater and lovely free dinner. Big thank you for making our weekend away😊❤ Beautiful view from outside the window. Had nice walk down the harbor. Not the first time in Folkestone not the last. We loved live music on Saturday night. Had good fun 😊

The bed was very uncomfortable and making noises , it was very clean and dirty . I really believe they need to change the mattress to make the bed more comfortable , also it is above a pub , and the windows are not sound proof lot of noise coming from the pub. The staff are very kind and polite .

The location was great. No meals are included but bar meals were very good.

There is not much not to like, but there was no air conditioning in the pub or rooms, and although you can open the window I think that you would swelter on hot days. The kitchen is on the same floor as the bedrooms and there were cooking smells floating around, but they were not too bad.

We love how comfortable the room is, added with the table that we can use to sit and look out at the harbour. Good value for money and will be back again

We loved the room, which was super clean and comfortable and had a lovely view over the harbour. Fiona looked after us wonderfully and we enjoyed the live band in the evening.

Absolutely everything, the host is really friendly and very helpful, the position of the Ship Inn is perfect for all amenities a short walk to everywhere and right on the harbour. Can’t say enough apart from looking forward to booking again next year!!

I received such a warm welcome from staff on arrival. Room was very clean. Evening food was delicious and, while they could not offer breakfast, staff went out of their way to recommend a nearby business who could. A very pleasant stay.

Plain and simple but fully sufficient.

Great view of the waterside activity outside our third-story room.

Quite a few steep steps to get to the room, and access is through the back of the building. No way to refrigerate food or drink.

Great location. Nice room, nice little extras like bottle of water. Very clean.

Bed was so hard and noise most of night, not sure where it came from.
