De ligging: midden in de stad. Ik vond het fijn dat het in- en uitchecken zo makkelijk ging. Ook kon je via Booking.com hen gewoon appen als je iets nodig had.

Het bed was een beetje hard.

Le studio était confortable et extrêmement bien situé. Il était équipé d'une machine à laver le linge, ce qui nous a été très utile. Les hôtes étaient très accommodants et nous ont permis de laisser nos valises dans l'immeuble jusqu'à notre avion le soir.

Die Lage ist perfekt zentral. Großer Supermarkt direkt ums Eck. Nachts relativ ruhig. Schalldichte Fenster.

Badezimmer leider kein Fenster. Einrichtung etwas spartanisch und nüchtern. Geschirrausstattung unbefriedigend. Sieb, Schneidebrett, Müslischalen wären z.B. dringend erforderlich. Restliches wie Töpfe, Gläser, Teller genug vorhanden.

Kleine maar leuk ingedeelde ruimte met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf van, in ons geval, een week. Direct in het centrum.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer engen, dunklen und sehr lauten Straße, umgeben von Baustellen. Es ist kein Ort, an dem man gerne Urlaub macht. Man kann dort auch nicht parken, obwohl die Vermieter einem das zuvor suggerieren, doch nur, damit man bei ihnen einen Parkplatz für 10 Euro über Paypal for friends (d.h. ohne Käuferschutz) bestellt. Tatsächlich ist der Parkplatz jedoch extrem weit außerhalb. Die Vermieter sind auch nicht ansprechbar, es gibt nur einen Code. Bei Problemen steht man also alleine da, Hilfe ist von den Vermietern nicht zu erwarten. Es gibt viel schönere Unterkünfte in Funchal (z.B. in der hübschen Altstadt), die auch noch viel besser ausgestattet sind, viel heller, mit Balkon oder sogar Meerblick. Diese Unterkunft kann ich daher absolut nicht empfehlen.

the location is central Funchal. walking distance to many things.

First night I woke up with 4 bites that swell and are itchy on my face. Second night 2 new bites on face and neck. The bed is really hard. the spring we’re poking me in my ribs. I had to sleep on pillows. The couch looks dingy and dirty. Towels were hard.The shower looks like a pool public shower and had mold inbetween the tiles. There was insects in the room. The staff i spoke to is not pleasant.

This is a nice, large apartment in an amazing location - close enough to the city center, but in a quiet street. Joana is a kind and responsive host. The apartment was cleaned once, in the middle of my stay, which was quite enough. The kitchen is relatively well equipped, with a stovetop, small fridge, kettle, and even a Dolce Gusto and filter coffee machine!

Some basics were missing in the kitchen, like paper towels, kitchen towels, a dish drying rack. Also, although there are small packets of salt, vinegar, and oil available, it would be so much more convenient (and sustainable) to have normal, regular-sized products.

Very clean and well equipped flat, the hosts were available via phone and although we didn’t meet in person at any time everything was super organized. The location couldn’t be better, big supermarket and small local grocery store, a park and lots of restaurants nearby. 10/10 recommendation :)

Loved! Clean, brand new, and easy to find. I booked same day and they had it ready within the hour. Also the air conditioning was exceptional, especially since it was one of the hottest days funchal has had in years.

In center. Everything with a walking distance.

As a tourist not being used to drive in these narrow streets of Funchal it can be a challenge. But we manage to get to our place… (price to pay for staying in center.)

Super great location and an excellent price. It has everything you need for a basic accommodation. Our host was very responsive and helped us get parking somewhat late notice.

Even for how cheap it was, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable - you could feel individual springs. The couch also was not comfortable. There was a weird smell to the property and after discovering some moisture and spots on the dresser doors we suspect it was mold.

We were absolutly happy with our stay, super comfy apartment with super location, like 3min walk from the Airport bus stop. there is a shopping mall in the next street also a small decathlon in like 10 min walk. The bed was great, and the bathroom and a kitchen as well. Our apartment was on the top floor(3rd) but there is a lift too :) I would be to happy to stay here again.

Location was great, right in town though very quiet at night. Short walk to lots of bars or restaurants. A very nice town.

Only one mirror in the whole flat is the one in the bathroom. Some people like a full length mirror and this is definitely needed in the bedroom or lounge. A couple of hooks in the bathroom would be useful as there is nowhere to hang a towel or clothing when showering. The only cutting knifes in the kitchen (two large ones) were completely blunt, so get them sharpened. or replace them now and again. All in all though, a nice place to stay.
