I believe it was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in for the price and location, and the people working there and the food were amazing. The chef is really good. He was working at a restaurant before everything was amazing.the beds were new and comfortable, and I totally recommend it.

Spent 3 nights at Pizza Street hostel and had an amazing time. The hostel is neat and clean and has all the facilities required. There's a fridge, kettle, microwave and a functioning kitchen that can be used. There's a place to dry your clothes in case you're washing them yourself. The location of the hostel is unbeatable. There's a falafel outlet downstairs and a plethora of food options to the either side of the hostel. Also, the major diving center offices are just 200-300 metres away. (Easy to enquire) And then coming to the important aspect of what made my stay even more amazing - the hostel owner Mr. Sabri - a gentle and sweet person who makes you feel at home. He makes great tea in the morning and in the evening for the inmates for free. He also has great contact with the diving centres and will make sure you have an amazing experience. I'm usually a person who researches many times before spending money and choosing a particular company for experience. But with Mr. Sabri, I could let him take care of the whole stuff and he makes sure everything is in place. Pizza Street hostel and Mr.Sabri would be the best memories i take back from Jordan to India.

The owner came one hour after I have been waiting for him to check in. It was late evening and I asked if I can cook my own food as it was mentioned that kitchen was part of  hostel. But it's not, he said everything costs money and to use kitchen, fuel I need to pay 1 JD and if I use salt or oil it will cost  additional 2JD! This is the first time in my life that a hostel asked to pay to use kitchen! And what more he was angry with me for asking to use kitchen. He said that I can cancel the booking and go somewhere else, with a slur against Indians. He was intimidating and aggressive. Later in the night he apogoliesd and was kind enough to give me traditional Arabic tea to heal my stomach ache. Never in my life I have been treated so badly by property owner of booking.com like this! It left a very bad feeling. Most reviews  praised the owner, he  may be a good person, but I don't understand why he behaved like this to me. And remember you have to bring  towel or pay for it. The breakfast was really good.

The location was in the middle of Aqaba's city center. So, it was very convenient to walk around in Aqaba. Dorm was super clean and spacious. The host is also super nice and even invited his guest for a common dinner with traditional Jordanian food.

Bathroom could be better maintained. I would also recommend people to use earplugs, because there is a mosque which is very closed to the hostel. If you have no intentions to pray at around 4am, the call might wake you up. This is not the hostel's fault. It's just a tip for other guests, who don't want to be surprised early in the morning :-)

Если вы хотите чудесной компании, хорошей атмосферы и вам не нужны условия уровня люкс - это идеальный вариант для Акабы, лучший. Хозяин Сабри был потрясающим, и пусть я только-только уехала, я уже скучаю. Спасибо Pizza street hostel за замечательное, чудесное завершение моего путешествия по Иордании! Mon séjour à l'hôtel Pizza Street Hostel s'est merveilleusement bien passé. Le manager de l'hôtel s'est montré attentif à mes besoins, très aidant et plein de bons conseils. La chambre était agréable et propre et je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement idéalement situé à quelques centaines de mètres du bord de mer !

Słuchajcie! Obiekt w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji, czysty, zadbany z ciepłą wodą, kuchnią, dostępem do internetu, szafkami na klucz itd Najważniejsze, że obiekt prowadzi super gospodarz, który zna się na życiu i bardzo chętnie sie tym dzieli. Ma niesamowite historie oraz wiedzę. Pomoże zorganizować czas w Agabie i nie skąpi swojego czasu czy energii dla turystów bo to po prostu kocha i widać, że jest dobrym człowiekiem (nie zedrze z Was ani dinara). Bardzo mi się podoba to miejsce jak i sama Agaba. Polecam z całego sercs

Best host ever, very helpful, friendly and the hostel is super central, many restaurants nearby and the beach is also very close :)

It was my second stay at Pizza Street Hostel in Aqaba. I spent both times 1 week there. The location is still excellent, restaurants, street food is nearby. The beds are clean and comfortable. What I enjoyed the best ist the spirit of the place, the feeling that I am at home, I arrived, the discussion with people coming from different parts of the world but having the same interests. Sabri, the owner of the hostel has done everything so that we can enjoy our stay and make the most of it. As the goal of my visit was mainly diving, he also arranged it for me despite I had dived previous year, organised by myself. This time, via him I got better prices by another diving center, I could dive every time (9 dives alltogether) at different divesite and I was treated special. I cannot be thankful enough for Sabri that I could have this experience. The breakfast was very delicious every day, I usually felt hungry around 5 pm for the first time. Tea was always available for us as water from a waterdispenser. At my last evenig we hade to chance to grill together with the people who were there and it was really delicious and we had great discussions. He can also help in organising other excursions, he always know what is cheaper and where to go to arrange things. In general come here to experience this spirit, enjoy your stay in Aqaba. I a sure I will still return.

Decent location but nothing else

FILTHY - the bathroom was disgusting with no signs of any cleaning arrangements. It was so bad that I avoided showering and even brushing my teeth. For obvious reasons (let your imagination wonder) the toilet was also beyond use. The inside was very humid, floors are carpeted so it's difficult to sleep. Yes there is AC but it's nowhere near sufficient to compensate for the building design. It felt very damp and humid OWNER - pleasant enough guy at first impression, welcomes you well but I think this is a compensation tactic as he knows the hostel is overall very poor, which sort of explains the positive reviews. The owner became quite aggressive and started sending me whatsapp messages and voice notes once I complained to booking.com. He was very argumentative and his defence was basically "it's cheap so you shouldnt expect more". I want expecting anything royal just a half decent place where I could crash for a few days. Safe to say I checked out in the morning and went to a different hostel for 1JD extra and it was a 10/10 stay. So Mr Owner, up your game, keeping the hostel at a low price point is nothing to shout home about especially considering many hostels in the area at the same price point are far superior. OVERALL - I've stayed in many hostels, some good, some bad but hey it is what it is and I don't complain too much BUT this hostel really was a horrer. Other guests I was staying with also had a similar experience. TLDR - dirty hostel, owner seems pleasant but is likely compensating for the poor hostel, bathroom unusable, no sign of any cleaning, rooms are damp and humid depsite the "AC". Better options available nearby at a very similar price point. Owner is also very argumentative on WhatsApp and will literally harass you if you report to booking.com. Stay clear. Owner also claimed he let me stay an extra few hours for free out of courtesy via whatsapp messages eventhough this was agreed via booking.

Incredible hostel! The location of it is perfect : in the city center and in the best restaurants street. The host, Sabri, is a wise, fun and caring host. The guest feels at home immediately.

The owner was very responsive, always willing to offer assistance, hospitable, and cool. The hostel was clean, beds were comfy. It’s along a street full of restaurants. The bus station is also walking distance from the hostel.

We had a really nice stay in the hostel. It’s located right around the corner to a lovely street with nice restaurants and shops. The beach is in good walking distance. The owner is really friendly and helpful, we had some nice chats with him and other guests.

Mr. Abu Ahmad is a gentleman and he has a great customer service 👏.

Owner is super nice and flexible

Central location with lots of nearby cheap eats. The owner is extremely friendly and as you can see from other reviews, he always goes the extra mile such as clearly explaining transportation and activities. The strong AC in the rooms help you survive the crazy heat of Aqaba and although it was a bit quieter with guests during my stay, I will always come back here.

Nothing

The location is very close to a lot of shops and the beach, the beds were really comfy, I liked that it had great AC and the place was cool 😎, cold/hot water, very clean place, has youtube and netflix, very clean place, and an absolutely amazing host! Thank you for having me, definetly will come again.

Laid back chilled hostel in the center of town plenty of shops and restauràntz plus a beach all in walking distance.i had a great time there more of a home from h9me instead of been a bed number on a computet.the owner was helpful with local tips and tours to wadi rum/petra.proper mountain bike rental and good wifi great place to meet other travelers .kitchen was open 24 hours .shared 4 bed dorm but not the usual creaky bunkbeds and small balconey to hang out on.

Liked everything

The location is great. The owner goes out with every girls, who travelling alone, touching them, and asking about their sexlife. He is a heavy drinker, driving drunk, and if he very drunk, you dont have breakfast, becouse hangover. Guys, no need free breakfast, every other hostel is the same price pay for the breakfast, fresh humus, vegetables, sweets, if you want tó get it. He is living on his sofa, 2 méters from you, want tó speak with everybody about his storyes. Hé is bored too much, and want to control everything. What a life! He eats at night leave on the table the rest, and everything smells bad all night, and morning

Short and to the point: The location is central to everything. Complimentary water this is the first you need, when you just arrived. The host Sabri is very welcoming and helpful. The staff are very kind in everything and ready to help you in any way. Thanks!

Short and to the point: The hostel is quite run down and needs a good cleaning. No every bed have an access to the electricity socket. Broken coat hanger in the room. Very old, outdated, shabby towels and bed linen and in general, beds, furniture. In the bathroom, the curtain keeps falling. The balcony were quite dirty. Noise from the school nearby.
