Nice location quiet, small cottage with most facilities.

Nice area but very small, not worth the money. Overpriced. 10 am was too early a checkout in the am- would have been better an hour later. Top door of main entrance door didn’t shut properly and saw in guest book that this has been a problem since 2022, concerned re security Very hard to get into toilet as door and position of dining table not great, just in the way. Far too many synthetic air fresheners , probably to mask something but the amount of them gave me a headache. Mouldy smell in cupboard in kitchen. Bed on the hard side and pillows too large and inflexible giving neck ache. Not that well provided with chopping knifes that are blunt ( hard to cut tomatoes and basic items) and lacking salad servers or to serve with. Cutlery knives blunt as well and couldn’t even cut cooked fish. Instructions on location from agency lacked final step of indications where the house was on the lane so drove up and down and asked people. Agency overcharged us compared to the price quoted and took a long time to resolve this.

Locality. Close to Canterbury, Dover and lots of places in between. Pretty green outlook. Lovely owner Ann, very helpful. Ideal getaway for short or long periods. Very well equipped with everything you need. Lovely kitchen. Great to have a washing machine. Very clean. I would certainly recommend.

Pheasants Lodge is in a lovely location surrounded by fields whilst also enjoying easy road connections. Our host was friendly and charming and we much enjoyed our stay.

Pheasants Lodge is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Kent countryside. The cottage owner is very friendly and helpful in all aspects of your stay. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped with a large shower. There are pretty villages nearby and Canterbury and its magnificent cathedral is only a short distance away.

It is important to read the owner's instructions on access to the cottage. It is off the busy A2 dual carriageway and it's easy to miss the entrance which is a private road. Start slowing down after you pass the slip roads off to Bridge and then Barham. There will be two more entrances after that and you need to take the second one named ILEDEN ROAD.

The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Lots of good eateries locally.

The cleanliness could have been a little better, for instance the inside of the drawers for cutlery.
