We decided for Kanab as our gateway to Bryce, Zion and GC North Rim. That being said we knew that we had to spend some time commuting but at the advantage of staying at a beautiful place for a couple of days. Cliffrose Cabin has all the amenities that you could ask for, the whirlpool was amazing, great barbecue and outdoor gas stove to do marshmallows. Kitchen fully equipped! Supermarket close by! Lee as the person to be actually present at the house was fast when we needed him (once)!

The cabin was phenomenal. The primary bathroom is really something else. The bathtub is practically a 2-person indoor hot tub. Bed was comfortable. Loved having the electric fireplaces in both the living room and primary bedroom. AND there is a washer & dryer which came in handy.. not sure why it's not mentioned in the listing because that's a big selling point. The view was lovely and we were grateful to have so much space. We never saw any insects, but there was a small lizard that hung out with us - nature's adorable pest control. Some people may be bothered by that, so I thought I'd mention it. But we enjoyed it.

Nothing major. There are all the kitchen supplies you could ever want, but the pots & pans require serious scrubbing after each use. A gift basket was mentioned repeatedly in reviews and in the check-in email we received from the host, which left us a bit confused when there was no gift basket, though there were a couple K-cups, pieces of chocolate, and a bag of popcorn on the counter. Not a big deal at all - just kind of odd.

Lovely and comfortable log cabin home. Peaceful location with nice views of the red cliffs. Included all of the bed, bath, and kitchen amenities that we like to have. So much nicer than staying in a hotel.

Excellent central heating in the home, but the large master bathroom can be a bit chilly to enter in the morning. It's best to back into the parking area in front of the cabin, to make it easier to maneuver out of.

The shower / steam room was wonderful. The gift basket was generous, the massager was awesome, the bed was comfortable. It was probably our best rental ever.
