Great house and location. All the house items were plentiful and handy. Possibly the best porch in Cape Charles!

We had a fantastic stay at this Vrbo home in Cape Charles! The location was perfect, with easy walking distance to the beach. The game barn was a huge hit with everyone in our group, providing lots of entertainment. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped, making our vacation truly enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We had spectacular weekend in Cape Charles for my 50th. We enjoyed the fire pit and barn. Home was so cute. Loved all the decor. Sofa was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and caters were able to work well in the kitchen. Loved the front porch sitting area. Location was perfect to walk to the restaurants, stores and the beach. Highly recommend the home. Only wish there was another full bathroom and then the home would be beyond perfect!

This is a fun home. Very comfortable, has plenty of bedrooms, and the backyard is awesome. We lit a fire outside daily, played chill music, and had a great time in the game barn. People who walked by the home thought we were a restaurant and asked if they could make a reservation. Very cool.

We had the best time here. The game barn was fun for our teens and the location near the beach and cute small town was terrific. Would go back.

This hiuse has it all! It rained our first day, but the games, books, movies, kept the kids happy....and the playroom kept EVERYONE happy! Beds are extra cozy. Kitchen HAS EVERYTHING! The front porch...we all fell in love with the twin bed sized SWING! AND THE BUNK BEDS, hands down winner! Everyroom had fans, and box fans to boot! We'll certainly be back!

This was the perfect house for our family vacation- 1 kid and 2 dogs - we loved the fenced in backyard and game barn and the house had everything we needed!

We loved every minute of our stay! We loved the house, the porch, the yard, the game barn, the location! We loved being by the park and the whole neighborhood. Prettiest street in Caoe Charles.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The home is stocked with everything we needed. There’s cubbies and racks to store your things and is just so well thought out! They even had a nice set of pots & pans. The furniture and beds are comfy and we slept like little lambs. The house is as pictured and is so cute and well decorated. We loved the outside lights and game barn! The location was awesome and enjoyed watching the activity around the park. Our dog loved watching everything from the front porch. She’s not used to the activity of living in town. She was so tired when we got home she slept all that night and all the next day barely getting up to eat & potty! LOL! The host was lightning fast in responding. This is the way all hosts should be! Those of us who have rented often know the nightmares we encounter. No nightmares here. In fact the bar has been raised! If there is anything to comment on is the fact there were no directions on how to use the tv’s, which the home owner said they would rectify due to our difficulties. And we were not fond of having to go up and down stairs to use the restrooms. The downstairs restroom is right inside the back door before the 4 steps to go into the kitchen. But, we get it’s an older home and you have to work with what you’ve got. Also, the cleaning crew needed to step it up in a couple of areas, which I addressed with the owner. Everything else made up for all of that though. Kudos to the owners for doing it right!

We traveled down with another couple so we totaled 4 adults and 2 toddlers under 2 years old. The house was absolutely perfect for our group for many different reasons! It already came with 1 Pack & Play and a high chair but the kicker was the large front porch with a sliding gate to block off the steps. Sitting out on the porch where the kids could play while still being contained was great. The location was PERFECT, esp given that it was right next to the park w/ a great playground. We were also in perfect walking distance to everything in town. The game barn speaks for itself...a great place for the kids to play and for the adults to hang out after they go to bed. 10/10 - would recommend staying here any day!!

The location of the house is perfect. We loved relaxing on the front porch with the soothing sound of the central park fountain. Everything was within walking distance and the house had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend.

This was our third time to Cape Charles, and the best house we've rented. It is immediately across the street from the city park and is a three block walk to the beach. We had a rainy week but still loved the stay because the house was so well equipped with the game barn (that our five year old called the "fun house"), kids books and games, the covered porches and the accessibility to town and the park during breaks in the rain. We hope to be back!

We enjoyed our stay over the Mother’s Day weekend. Perfect location just blocks from the beach and restaurants and shops in the main street. Appreciated the pool table in the barn, and the fact that the kitchen had every utensil we needed to cook meals.

This is our 2nd time staying here and it won’t be our last! The home is beautiful decorated, has all the comforts of home with even some extra thoughtful touches. Our kids love the bunk beds, game shed and porch swing. It’s in walking distance of everything and we can’t wait to return.

We had a great time. We visited during the winter and it’s nice that there is plenty to do at the house since some things in town are closed.

This property was incredibly well-maintained and clean. The check-in process was exceedingly simple. Ashleigh was in communication throughout the process to make it so. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a weekend away in a friendly community with lots to offer. There aren't enough stars to show how great this process/property/owner were.

This house has everything! It was less like a vacation rental and more like being welcomed into a fully stocked, super cozy, home away from home. The game shed, swings and porches were amazing. Its the perfect location near the park and super close to walk to the beach, shops, etc. We can't wait to come back!

Cape Charles was the absolute perfect beach for our young children (2 and 3yrs old) and Ashleigh's home was just as described and perfectly situated within walking distance to the beach. The house was very comfortable even during the heat of August and each room was comfortable and well thought out. Our girls really enjoyed the closed in front porch and swing as well as the large comfy couch for lounging after beach trips. The house has everything you need for a short or long beach vacation.

We had such a wonderful time in Cape Charles! This home was an absolute gem - perfect for our family's needs. The house was so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a perfect family vacation - board games, a game barn with skee ball and a pool table, just blocks to the beach and restaurants, a huge backyard and the most perfect front porch to spend your evenings. The location and layout was perfect for our family vacation. Our children loved going to the playground everyday, the beach was easy to walk to, and so was the main street. The game barn was so much fun for the kids and adults, and was a highlight of the stay for all the kids. We were very happy to see how much care and attention the owners have shown the house, and it was in excellent condition considering the age of the house. It was very also clean, and you can tell they love staying here. This was a great house to stay at for our first visit to Cape Charles, and hopefully it won’t be our last!
