Stephanie and her team were probably the best hosts we have ever had through VRBO. Always had great suggestions and very quick to reply. The home has the most amazing views and is very well stocked! Pool floats, SUP, kayaks, lounge chairs, blender, insulated cups...everything you need inside and out! Great location on Tar Bay and centrally located for an easy drive south or north. Would HIGHLY recommend Savage Sands!

Savage Sands is an amazingly gorgeous, well maintained and well situated residence. The house is modern and well stocked. The pool is beautiful and pool/beach toys plentiful. The house was large enough to accommodate the 8 adults in our group. The host and property manager were very communicative and all our questions and needs were met with quick responses. But nothing bets the view! Incredible ocean and sandy beach. I would definitely stay at Savage Sands again.

My family and I just returned home from our 5 night stay at Savage Sands. The property is beautiful; the Savages really did think of every detail with this house. The kitchen is equipt with everything you need; it was a nice perk to also have a spice cabinet stocked with items we didn't order in advance. The location is ideal; the stretch of beach the home is located on is perfect. The infinity pool is perfect! I HIGHLY reccomend this home for your family. It was also a nice perk having the front closet equipt with extra sunscreen, a first aid kit, etc. The upstairs included some fun board games and puzzles. Bedrooms are really nice with comfirtable beds and bathrooms well appointed. The house is about 10 minutes from town where the grocery store and flea market are. This was our forst trip to Exuma; some suggestions: there are decent restaurants but have a plan for dinner and preferably a reservation. I also suggest pre-ordering groceries from Exuma Market; it makes things much easier upon arrival. I can't say enough good things about the house. It was only 5-10 minutes from the airport. Communication with the owner was excellent; Stephanie provided me with all the info I needed and Shawn (property manager) was very nice and showed my family around the home upon arrival.

We had a great time staying here with our family. It is just what we needed to recharge! We have a few hiccup but nothing that Shawn and the rest of the crew didn't address right away! Our boys loved the pool and it's so nice to be right on the beach! We have stayed and quite a few vrbo's and I have to say that this one was stocked the best! The kitchen had everything we needed and lots of options. We brought our own cooler of meats with us so we cooked at the house a lot and everything worked great! Would definitely stay here again if we decide to come back to George Town!

We planned this as our summer vacation with family. From the start when we booked the place till we left, everything went so smooth. Listing is way better than what it looks on line. Stephanie is amazing and very responsive. Shawn picked us up at airport and oriented us to everything. Our stay was amazing. Beautiful place and view and so quiet and relaxing. Can’t say enough. Will be back .

An incredible vacation in this AMAZING house! The views were fabulous, even better than expected. We often had the beach to ourselves and other time see only a handful of people in either direction! They have everything you could think of for entertaining a family on property if you choose to not go out. The location was great to get to airport, boat rentals, groceries etc. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is the best place in the Bahamas and I would stay here again the next time I return. Here’s why: - everything very clean (spotless) - everything worked! - Shawn the property manager was on call in case any problems (there were none). - so modern, so elegant, so much elbow room. - wide-spanning beautiful white sand beach with electric blue crystal clear water literally right outside. - some reviews said water too choppy. A couple days it was a little choppy for paddle boarding. But don’t be fooled it was gentle, Hawaii and California…now that’s choppy and downright intense. - Also it’s a whole other level of calm when you can see everything in the water because it’s so clear. - very minimal people on the beach… oftentimes no one. - Exuma is not commercialized, it is underdeveloped. But that is it’s charm. It felt like a true tropical island vacation experience. - locals were friendly and helpful and patient. - the house was SO comfortable and elegant, and the beach SO beautiful, preferred to stay put most of every day. - looking to really get away and spend quality time with family? This is the place, Exuma is the place!

Our multigenerational family of 9 had an incredible spring break week at Savage Sands. Shawn the property manager met us at the airport and was readily available for the duration of our stay. The 180 degree wall of windows provide an awe inspiring view as you enter the house. We loved lounging in the infinity pool, kayaking in the turquoise waters, strolling the beach and watching movies in the crows nest in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked and we particularly appreciated that the Savages had labeled every drawer and cabinet so there was no need to rummage around looking for that mixing bowl or Tupperware container. Thank you Andrew and Stephanie for sharing your little piece of paradise!

The house was outstanding with gorgeous views and was very well appointed. All the restaurant and beach tips were spot on.

You will not be disappointed! My family and I stayed at Savage Sands in mid-February. This house and property are fantastic! Our experience was straight out of a dream. Each bedroom is comfortable and well-furnished. The two main bedrooms have incredible views of the ocean. The main living spaces are so inviting and the views are unparalleled! It was perfect for our family of 9 to just relax in the morning or evening. Additionally our younger elementary age kids loved the workout space downstairs as it doubled as a play room during our stay. The new deck, infinity edge pool, and volleyball court are impressively built and were perfect for our kids to enjoy themselves. They even had a ton of inflatables for the pool which were a big hit. A few general notes for awareness: 1) Make sure to let your local host know what time you plan to arrive at the airport. We arrived a little earlier than expected but he got to us promptly and showed us to the house. He was so incredibly helpful during our stay. 2) The house is on the eastern side of the island and when we were there we did have high NE to E winds that made the water in front of the house very choppy. We didn't get to use the kayaks or paddleboards much at all. That said, the property is well situated in the middle of the island so it was super easy to drive north or south to explore. And we found a few 'protected' beaches that had less wind effects.

We were immediately blown away with the breath taking view of the beautiful beach! The Savages thought of everything!! We were able to take advantage of all the amenities i.e. kayaks, life jackets, inner tube floaties and beach chairs with umbrellas. We had the beach to ourselves. It was perfect!! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots. We had several sit down meals with our family, it really felt like our home away from home. Shawn the property manager was on point from the time we landed until we left. It was a great experience and we plan to come back! Can't wait to see the upcoming upgrades (infinity pool, gym, and volleyball court)! We'd like to thank the Savages for opening up their home to us. It truly was a blessing!

Savage Sands was the perfect luxury beachfront getaway for our multigenerational family vacation in Exuma. The setting is truly spectacular and the large windows throughout the home highlight this. The home is spacious, well-appointed, beautifully decorated—and it had everything we needed to feel “at home.” It is also conveniently located near the midpoint of the island, not far from the airport and Georgetown—so it makes exploring the island a breeze. We can’t wait to return to Exuma and this extraordinary property. The hosts and property manager were a pleasure to work with—we felt welcomed and prioritized from the moment we arrived. They thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and entertaining—from family games to extra sunscreen and snorkel gear. They even provided additional beach day excursion items—a portable beach umbrella, a mini-cooler, a large ice chest and beach chairs for everyone in our party. They also gave us a vacation guide with their personal recommendations that was frequently referenced and so helpful. We loved lounging on the deck watching the beautiful Exuma blues change throughout the day, building sandcastles on the beach, swimming and kayaking, observing the star-filled night sky & bands of the Milky Way—and the kids were especially elated to go hunting for crabs on the beach at night. We also really enjoyed snorkeling at both of the 2 coral reefs that are very close to the house—we kayaked out to them first to make sure we identified them correctly from the shore before we headed out in our snorkel gear. One is much bigger than the other and has tons of fish—but the smaller one (near the Turtle View house to the left) has a good selection of fish too and is a good choice for kids as it’s closer to shore.

The ocean views from this home are absolutely amazing. You do not feel like you are missing a thing when you have to come inside because you are still enjoying views of that amazing blue water. The Savages have provided everything you need and more to have a fantastic vacation. You will find everything you need in the kitchen to cook a great meal. For sun and fun you will find beach towels, tubes, paddle boards, kayaks and snorkeling gear. If you want to venture out of the house there is a book is provided with all of the family favorites and detailed instructions. This house and location was one of our families favorites!

This house is six minutes from the airport, 16 minutes from Sandals golf course and 10 minutes from George Town. The view provided by the windows was therapeutic. There was plenty of sunscreen, bug spray, and first aid products. Also there were some basic spices. The owner checked on us by texting throughout our stay and gave us advice on restaurants and must sees. Very comfortable and beautiful house. Loved having paddle boards and kayaks!

Savage Sands was the perfect home for our Spring Break trip! We had 3 families with 4 kids in the 11-13 age range. The bedroom set-up worked great with each couple having their own King bedroom and the kids stayed in the extra large bedroom with a King and a Queen bed. We were also glad each room had its own bathroom. The house was immaculate and the hosts were very easy to communicate with and gave us lots of helpful tips since it was our 1st time on the island. The house was fully stocked inside and out with everything we needed. The kids especially loved using the kayaks and paddle boards every day. The enormous dual-level windows are what make this house a showstopper. Can't imagine any other design that allows the 180 degree view of the gorgeous turquoise water. Whenever you need a break from the sun and head inside, you still feel like you are right on the beach. We will always remember the special memories made and can't wait to return!

I simply cannot say enough about Savage Sands. The house, the amenities, the view! It was even better in person than we expected! When we first walked in the door my kids (aged 11-18) literally jumped for joy and didn't know where to go first: to pick out one of the luxurious rooms (each with its own KIng bed and bathroom), explore the games/TV room, run down to the ocean, lounge on the deck, grab a paddle board/kayak or laze in the hammock. We spent 8 glorious days doing all of the above. Stephanie was always available for advice, and the property manager Shawn is quick to respond to any need. The kitchen is fully stocked with high-end appliances and conveniences. The views from every window and wraparound deck were spectacular! The beach is white sand and turquoise waters, with a lovely long stretch for walking. Plenty of grocery stores and activities to book-- a rental car is a good idea. I cannot say enough. Any one staying here will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for letting us relax and enjoy your beautiful home!

Amazing visit!! The house is beautiful, well maintained, and super clean. It is very well stocked with everything you need to cook, play, and make awesome memories. The location is perfect with quick access to the airport, Georgetown, and Little Exuma. The owners and onsite care taker were very attentive during our stay. We stayed 8 days with our children, and everyone was sad to leave.
