Perfect location on Kailua Beach. Beautiful sunrises and great swimming. The place is compact but has everything you need! Very clean. This was our second stay and we will return.

The rental was clean, had lots of dishware/cleaning supplies, closet space; the location and view from the window stunning. However, the rental is sandwiched between the host's home and another rental, and even shares sliding doors with both- one door just locked, and another locked with a sign saying do not open. The front lawn is shared between all, and the large window looking out, while partially tinted, shows right into the bed/living area and made it feel very un-private. The entry door has little window hinges that don't truly close either, which makes the rental always open to the outside, and the entrance to the other rental is right next door, another neighbor right across from the entryway. I was hoping for a private stay with my partner, but we didn't even feel comfortable using loud voices depending on time of day. I would book again because it was clean and the host was reliable, but only if I'm looking to interact with neighbors. Not ideal for a private couple getaway.
I also asked months in advance about contactless check-in, explaining that we would be arriving very late after an evening show 1 hour away, but the host didn't reply until the day of check-in, initially expecting to meet up to exchange keys. It is not set up for contact-less, so expect to meet the host and see them around, enjoying their front lawn as much as you hope to do.

Our 2nd time here, we love coming here to relax on a beautiful beach. Taking long walks and just soaking up the views…. The host Sheri is great with communication, we really enjoyed meeting her this go round…. Until next time….. Mahalo

We loved staying here! Hearing the ocean at night, waking up to that remarkable view of the beach, incredible sunrises and long walks on the beach. Also a short distance to Kailua town with shops and restaurants. The unit was very clean and communication with the owner was very easy. We can’t wait to come back!

Cool spot. Nice bathroom/ shower and a very beautiful view and location. Will definitely stay here again if I get the chance. Shari is super nice and helpful.

My bf and i loved our stay here. Sheri is fantastic and such a great hostess! Walking to the beach is at our doorstep and the view is amazing. A simple getaway, small and exactly what you need for a quiet stay. We will be back!

Shari was the best. She kept communication for checkin and check out. Unfortunately, we never actually met her in person.
The AC and ceiling fan is fantastic for night sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked with all your needs. The little pocket ceiling windows bring in the daytime light so perfectly.
We enjoyed the beach both days. The chairs and umbrella are a bonus for sure. Everything you need for the beach was there. We were only 7 minutes away from family which made it so convenient for us to hang out. When back on Oahu we will most definitely stay here.

Extremely clean and very well appointed(beach gear, a few guide books, dining utensils, nice linens, luggage rack), we did not want for anything!
Location is perfect: sunrises, islands, rainbows, just steps from the beach but also secluded by dunes and shrubbery.
Not a 'knock' at all, just sharing for others: the vacation rental is on the small side but it worked great for us (2 former backpackers). We will stay here again the next time we visit Oahu.

Shari has a slice of heaven which we are so glad to have been able to visit. RIGHT on a white sand beach - gorgeous. No road noise - just the wind in the palms and the waves. Wish we could have stayed longer. A+ host!

Great location, quiet area, nicely updated studio.. Everything in the description was spot on. Even without a stove, we had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Shari the owner in the main house was a gracious host, we loved meeting her; she communicated with us often and provided lots of useful information and guidance. There's another unit that Shari rents out, so pay attention to parking instructions for the shared driveway. Loved the Kailua vibe, lots of good places to eat. Would stay again at Shari's the next time we are on the main island.

This was the perfect property and place for us to begin our Hawaiian stay. We moved away from Kailua six years ago and it was our first visit back. The view of Kailua beach and the ocean from the room's window is gorgeous. Waking to the sound of the waves crashing is wonderful. The unit was immaculate. The bed was very comfy, and the shower was also very good. Communication with the owner, Shari, is excellent. We highly recommend this beautiful little slice of heaven on earth. Aloha.

This host has created a very comfortable smaller apartment that has the most amazing directly on the beach setting. Step out the door to one of the most swimmable, walkable beaches in the world. Kailua Beach will usually have some waves and surf for playing in and lite body surfing but it is especially a wonderful swimming beach. The hosts cute apartment has lots of space to get things out of suitcases. Bath fixtures are clean and unit has multiple simple appliances to make your day easy. This isn’t a place for groups or parties…just you and your special someone.

My husband and I stayed here for the first half of our trip to HI. The “room with a view” did in fact have an amazing view….could even see the sunrise from the bed (or on the beach a few steps away)! The unit was super clean and well kept. All amenities worked well…mini fridge/freezer, air conditioner, keurig, blow dryer, water pressure, and comfy bed. The kitchen area was well stocked with everything we needed. I initially wondered about privacy with the big window but the glass was a bit tinted and blackout shades were available. Sherri was great….helpful and responsive if we had a question or needed something but hardly saw her while we were there. The outside sitting area was nice and the beach was beautiful! In a quiet residential area a close drive to restaurants and shopping. Lots of food choices nearby…check out Over Easy for breakfast (get the hash) and Lanikai brewing for beer and pizza! Everything was perfect and we would happily stay here again!

Great little spot right on the beach. In a quiet neighborhood. Exactly as shown in the pictures.
Has everything you need for a short stay (except there was only four coffee pods for our three day stay)
So you will have buy some.
Also it could use a luggage rack. There was a bench that I used for my suitcase. But my husband had to put his on the floor.
Other than that, the place is very comfortable, quiet and clean. Owner did a great job updating and decorating. Really comfortable bed too!

My husband and I stayed at Shari's beachfront rental in Kailua for a week. We could not have been happier. It was perfect and exactly as pictured- comfortable, charming, super clean, quiet, and steps from the ocean! I Shari was the best host - personable, welcoming, and responsive to questions. My wife and I had a great stay, was just what we needed, away from everything and a beach that was amazing! We walked every morning and night, 2 miles of beach to the left(walking to end and back) and 2.5 miles walking to the right (end and back). The host Shari was very responsive to any of our questions. I want to note if your looking for a condo to cook in and lots of amenities you’ll need to look in Honolulu, this rental has a smaller fridge and microwave, Kureg coffee maker, hot kettle, blender, toaster, plates, bowls and glasses, this was all we needed as we like to go out and eat at different places. Thank You Shari for a wonderful stay !

I wanted a home base while moving my daughter into the University of Hawaii…A place that we could come back to after long days of moving and shopping for dorm supplies that we could just detox and relax. This was the perfect place! The unit was immaculate, the neighborhood was perfect, and you cannot beat the beautiful ocean views, and the ability to be on the sand within steps! Thank you for offering this beautiful studio! it was perfect for quality time with my daughter! Would love to visit again!
