I stayed there during my cycle trip on Shimanami Kaido. It was extremely clean and it's a very beautiful peaceful place. The futon was comfortable. It's a bit off track in a residential area without any restaurants or konbinis, but as most people will be there by bike that shouldn't be a problem. Bikes can be stored rain-safe.

My room was a bit dark as the window was facing towards another building's wall. But it was the cheapest room and there are plenty of options to hang around in the rest of the house, so it was fine.

beautiful space with lovely outdoor garden area nice for a cup of tea in the morning :) amazingly comfortable beds and pillows. nice clean well equipped shared cooking and eating space. stayed here on a multi day cycling trip and it was excellent. can recommend

it’s a few kms from any convenience store so get food before you arrive :)

Beautiful design, traditional yet contemporary, well thought out amenities including kitchen, lovely social space, beautiful ceramics, perfect location to watch sunrise on the beach.

Very small room although for one night it was fine.

Very new, clean, beautiful and calm. Had literally everything we could think of (even a music box). Also the bed was like sleeping in clouds. Would love to stay longer.

The building was a traditional Japanese house that is recently renovated. The building has all the facilities of a modern home and hotel whilst keeping a Japanese atmosphere. The kitchen area and washing facilities are really well equipped.

It would be nice if there was a place in the room to dry wet clothes / towels.

Very clean traditional Japanese style house. The staffs are very warm-hearted and always provide appropriate help. Highly recommend to other tourist and definitely the place I want to come again.

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed. Rooms and all the common areas were spotless and beautiful. The combination of traditional Japanese house with the modern style was just gorgeous. The location is also perfect for making the Shimanami kaido bicycle trip, since it is right at the half point of the route. I will definitely come back again, when doing this bicycle trip. I am very excited to use the outside area more next time, since the owners put the new lawn down recently. The staff was also very friendly, polite and helpful. 10/10. No hesitation.
