Pomimo informacji że będę koło północy gospodarz nie otworzył drzwi, nie odbierał telefonu. Kierowca volta wielokrotnie do niego dzwonił bez skutku, oddwonił jak już odjechaliśmy daleko.musiałem po północy szukać hotelu , znalazłem w nekombo, tylko kosztów narobił.

Muy mal todo la verdad. Es que no podría decir nada positivo.
Escondido, imposible llegar con Google maps y ni te avisan de eso, literalmente al lado de unas vías de tren. Te intentan timar con el traslado(6$ por un trayecto en Tuktuk que cuesta 1,5$) desayuno pobre y malo, que se supone que está incluido pero se lo tuve que decir yo,la habitación un horno,te cobran el agua, baño compartido, uno para demasiadas habitaciones . No tenía ni pestillo en la habitación. Mucho ruido exterior de perros ladrando y el tren pasando durante la noche y temprano por la mañana. De 2 enchufes que tenía, uno roto, así que tenía que elegir entre dejar el ventilador o cargar el móvil y morirme de calor…

Het ligt in een wijk ver buiten de stad. Je moet sowieso met een taxi of Tuktuk terug naar de stad worden gebracht.

Owners were very helpful, communicated via WhatsApp and facilitated a very late checkin (~12:30am).
It’s fairly basic but clean, with a fan in the bedroom and single plug socket for charging (very standard for SL). The communal co-working station and rooftop terrace were both very spacious.
Breakfast was tasty.
They helped me arrange my transport and were really welcoming.
Communication over booking.com messaging was not the fastest, but I only reserved shortly before arriving. I’d suggest booking more in advance and/or asking for their WhatsApp as they were super responsive once we communicated that way.
Only other feedback would be that the fan needs dusting!
Note that the rooms are up one flight of stairs (I had a large suitcase and it was no problem), and don’t have a lock (I felt perfectly safe as a solo traveller, but just FYI).

No sheet on bed other than the one covering the mattress. No blankets.
No one answered the phone when I rang to inform our plane had landed. No reply on WhatsApp.
Staff wasn't very welcoming when we arrived.

The room was clean and the host was friendly, even offered us a late check in when our plane was delayed.
Was not warned that it was a shared bathroom. The shower put water all over the entire bathroom floor as the shower head was just in the middle of the open room. Also, there was no hot water.

The place is amazing, new nice and clean rooms, comfy beds, excellent price, perfect before/after departure very close to the airport l, peaceful terrace. Food was amazing as well. Owner and his family at web the best. Will definitely come back!

The b&b is located very near the airport, ideal for an overnight stay ahead of an early flight. There is all the basic things you need. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful with any issues.
I would recommend messaging the property first about arranging tuk tuks, as the local tuk tuk drivers can be challenging.
Although the overall property is safe and locked, there was no way to lock my room

Railway track is very close, not that much trains going there, so no problem, except you are noise sensitive.
Prices for beverages and taxi/Tuktuk are quite high, accordingly cause of being very close to the airport.

The property is located near the airport and it is perfect if you arrive late at night or you must catch an early morning flight. They also provide a transfer service to and from the airport at any time of the day and night, which is very convenient. The owner will also help you arrange the rest of your trip by giving useful advice and booking transfers and activities for you. The rooms are simple but have everything you need, and they serve delicious local breakfast. Highly recommended!

Good price for what you get. They also drive you to the airport but you need to pay.
No aircon and the bathroom is not in the room looks different on the pictures. It is really loud. You don’t hear the airport but the barking dogs next door and the train which drives trough your room every hour makes sleeping nearly impossible.

great stay after my flight to Colombo. the owner even picked me up from the airport in the middle of the night. the Hause is beautiful in quiet area so very convenient for airport layovers. very recommended!

Exactly what I needed traveling solo. Pick up from airport at evening, safe place to ask anything I needed. Even before I arrive they helped me by Whatsapp answering all my questions about SIM card, money exchange, how to go to my next destination. So kind and helpful!! thanks so much
