Great house and perfect spot for eclipse viewing

The home was immaculately clean, the floor design extremely convenient, bedrooms spacious, kayaks fun, couches super comfy, and the back deck was a birder’s paradise! Also, we all commented on how peaceful and quiet the location is. A great place to just wind down!

Every thing was good except for a bug that appeared to be a cockroach. Would recommend an exterminator to address the issue.

This home was very nice and had the extra touches. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood, not far from the Hot Springs Village gate. Rodney was excellent at communicating with me. The check in process was easy! We had three couples and had plenty of room for all of us. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens loved our stay. Rodney was the most helpful owner we have ever rented from. He responded very quickly to every message and provided quick solutions to the few minor questions we had. The house was clean, and beautifully decorated. The view over the lake is gorgeous, especially at sunrise and sunset. We loved the open plan of the living area. The master bedroom is very spacious, the bed comfortable, and the view stunning. The master bed is quite high and I did need to use the step stool that was provided to get onto the bed. The master bath has a convenient blind that can be closed for privacy or opened to see the gorgeous view. Our 2 teens decided to both sleep in the room with 2 beds and they both found their beds very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely organized with everything we needed. Unlike many houses in the village, the driveway was relatively flat. We enjoyed swimming & kayaking. We all wished we had brought swim shoes. I asked Rodney if there were chairs we could take down to the lakeside and he promptly had a set of chairs delivered for our use which were much appreciated. If you love the smell of a candle store, you'll really love this house. There were 10 plug-in scents going when we arrived. If you have a family member allergic to artificial scents, be sure to request they not be plugged in before you arrive. We would enjoy staying in this house again.

Wonderful location and super nice house!

We stayed in this home for a weekend and it definitely wasn't long enough. No one wanted to leave! The house is beautiful. Everything felt/was new and immaculately clean. The owner(s) thought of every little detail needed to make our stay perfect....and it was! Rodney was very prompt in answering any messages that I sent with questions (usually within 15 minutes!). I can't say enough good things about this house.

Our family enjoyed the stay. The house was well laid out and clean. We had a nice view of the lake and deck seating was sufficient. Rooms were very comfortable, and the interior was updated & nicely appointed. Path leading to the lake was maintained and easy to walk. Kayaks were a great addition. One thing that might have made it better, a lakeside dock for easier access into and out of the water. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you.

Great property. Very clean. Comfortable furniture including beds. Our kids are bigger, but it would be a great property for littles as well— you have a great shallow spot for swimming with younger kids near the bank. This also made loading into the kayaks much easier too! Lots of shade and a great back patio for sunrises and sunsets. My kids loved finding new board games there for us to play. There’s a great selection. For readers, you don’t even have to pack a book— there’s so many good ones there to choose from. It was nice and close to town too. My kids loved the mini golf course in the neighborhood and I would have tried pickle ball on a cooler day if I had planned better.

The house was just as pictured! Spacious, clean, updated. Great communication. We would stay agian for sure.

This house was perfect for the family. We ranged in age from 65 to 2. The home was clean and comfortable Some tried to fish without success. But they had fun trying. And some tried the kayaks. The neighborhood playground 5min away and the putput golf all free, was a hit. The only issue we had was not with they owners but the side yard was an electrical easement was not cut. Causing a high number of mosquitos. I look forward to coming back one day, hopefully during the fall.

We had such a great time in Hot Springs Village. This rental property was everything we could have asked for; Beautiful lakefront property, so peaceful and serene. The owners kept in communications with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our family ranged from 10 to 76 years old and everyone had a great time. If we ever visit the area again, I would defintely like to stay at this property.

Housekeeping was awesome, the house was spotless! Loved laundry soap. Didn't cook much, kitchen seemed well stocked. Lots of driveway room. AC in 3rd bedroom was perfect. A bit surprised that 2nd & 3rd bathrooms were across the hall from bedrooms.

What a beautiful house! And an amazing place. Everything is decorated so nicely. Snacks and water are provided, a very thoughtful touch. We only used the master bedroom and bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. A sunken jetted tub in the master bathroom and a roomy shower were much appreciated. Living room furniture is well laid out and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked, Keurig duo provided so you can make coffee for one or a pot of coffee for many. The host has provided pods, coffee, sugar, creamers. We felt very spoiled. We wished we had planned more days at this location.

We loved Rodney's home. It was immaculate and even more amazing in person. Check in was easy, contact with Rodney was immediate, the home was clean and comfortable, and everything we needed was there. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the kayaks. We had such a wonderful time and did not want to leave! Thank you for everything Rodney. We hope to stay again!

This place was absolutely perfect for what we were needing. So peaceful, close to everything. Will definitely be back!

We stayed with our family and friends’ families. There were 4 adults and 4 children (2, 3, 3, &11). The little people wanted to play outside in the gorgeous weather on the massive back deck. When the 11-year-old wasn’t outside, he was on his PS4 that his mother brought to keep him from “getting bored” (haha). The WIFI was great, he played Fortnite (online play) while we were there in the evenings. He was also a huge fan of the basketball goal out front. We have several basketball players that came with us, and they all loved the extra amenity. All bedrooms were equipped with smart TVs (Disney+ was a hit with the little girls during down time inside). The little ones also loved the room filled with toys, books, and card games. We had a small disposal issue on our first morning there and Rodney got someone out there right at lunch, and we were taken care of promptly. The neighborhood is so beautiful with ample trees and walking trails. We did check out Desoto Beach while we were there, small beach inside the neighborhood. It was very nice, picnic tables, grills, etc, very clean! My spouse said numerous times: I would live here with no hesitation. The house was gorgeous, so clean, everything that we ever needed was right there between dishes, cookware, pots & pans, a grill on the back deck, I could go on and on. I cannot say enough about our stay there. It was exceptional without a doubt! We will be staying with Rodney when we return to Hot Springs Village! Next time we will actually take the kayaks out. :)

My husband and I wanted to spend some time in the Village to explore the area thinking we might want to buy a winter home there (we’re from Michigan). We booked this home because we liked the view and the number of bedrooms/baths in case family came to visit. We arrived Feb 5 and fell in love with the home immediately. It was so clean, had all the amenities of home, open floor plan, beautiful kitchen, comfy couches and mattresses, nice TVs, and a gorgeous view. The location was wonderful…close to the West gate, walking trails, golf, and only 30 min from the historic downtown Hot Springs. For five weeks we played golf, mountain biked, hiked, played tennis, played pickle ball, worked out at the fitness center, and met a lot of wonderful people we now call friends. My husband and I work remote so if we weren’t “playing”, we were working. The home has a wonderful desk area in the master bedroom (with a printer!!). I worked at the kitchen table with a view of the lake. The wifi worked great!! There are areas of the village in which this is not the case. The communication with the home owner could not have been better. Since we were going to stay for 5 weeks, I knew I would do a lot of cooking. I contacted him a couple weeks prior to our stay asking if they had a crock pot and glass storage containers. I told him I would bring mine if the home didn’t have it. He said he would buy some so I didn’t have to pack it. So thoughtful!!! We had family come and visit for a few days. They loved the home as well. It was so nice for them to have their own bedroom and bathroom, yet have a wonderful open floor plan for us to all be together comfortably to hang out. We’re on our drive back to Michigan now and I’m sad to leave. This was our home for over a month and it was perfect. I highly recommend this home, whether it’s for a weekend or an extended stay. You will not be disappointed. You will also fall in love with everything the Village has to offer. We loved it so much, we bought a lot and hope to begin building this summer. Thank you Rodney for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It was lovely in every way.

Ours was a short 2-night stay, but staying at this property was the highlight of our vacation. Rodney and Kim are experienced hosts. The location is a peaceful retreat for anyone looking to disconnect; and the living room was the perfect place for us to watch the thunderstorm that rolled through that weekend. The home's layout is spacious, their decor is welcoming. The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. The tell-tale sign of a thoughtful host is when they place nightlights in the bathrooms. Best of all, their instructions for checking in and checking out are simple and easy to follow. Would gladly stay here again!

We had an amazing time! The owner was easy to reach and very communicative. The house was exactly as listed, and the view of the lake is even better than described. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Overall a really good vacation for our family of 4 (2 kids ages 14 and 9). The house was very nice with plenty of space for us. We really enjoyed swimming, kayaking and fishing in the lake right at the end of the path. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Master bed was a bit hard, but bedding was very nice. I would suggest owner's add some type of window covering on the top window in the master bath. We had to improvise a covering because anyone walking on the deck outside could see in, even my 9 year old was tall enough to see in that window. Kids both felt their rooms and bathrooms were very nice. Owner and property manager were quick to communicate and remedy a small situation at check-in. Would stay here again if we come back to this area.

We booked this home for our blended family vacation. We had four adults, three teenagers, and two toddlers. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Being on the water made it easy to enjoy a cooling off, and being only a few minutes away from a gas station, grocery store, and Walmart, there was never a fear of not having something we needed. We bought the groceries for our meals to cook once we arrived. Nearby interests we would recommend are the Mid-America Science museum, Gavern Gardens, and of course Bath House Row in the City of Hot Springs. Within the Village there are NINE golf courses! We did play Desoto Golf Course (very close to the house) on a Saturday afternoon and it was a very nice, well maintained course great for any skill golfer. We highly recommend booking this home for your family getaway!
