It was in a great location and very peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the front porch and the fire pit.

The beds were harder than we’re used to. And we couldn’t use the hot tub because it had buildup from soap or some kind of scum. I contacted the owner and Vacasa and basically kept getting the runaround and when I finally said don’t worry about it because we were leaving the next morning then they said sorry they couldn’t get someone out to look at it.

We were unable to access the cabin due to the driveway not being maintained and no one from the company was of any help in relocating us or offering solutions to get up the driveway. It was not snowing when we arrived or on the way there and there was no weather advisory. Obviously someone did not maintain the driveway from the last time they had snow or ice and when it got cold it froze back over. The driveway was solid ice when we arrived. My car slid backwards and spun tires both times we attempted to get up the driveway. We called for assistance immediately and got none. We wound up renting a cabin in the exact same town and we drove up their driveway with no problem because it was maintained. We were only refunded $150 for the cleaning fee. They kept the remaining $350 even though we never laid eyes on the property because of their lack of maintenance. DO NOT rent from Vacasa. If you do, buy trip insurance because they are not reasonable about what falls on the maintenance team and what falls on the customer.

the hot tub & cleanliness

i couldn’t find the driveway , it’s hard to find at night .

the cabin is nicely located in the woods, a short and steep drive from town. The kitchen is extremely well equiped, the cabin was very clean, the hot tub was great to have as well. Wifi and satellite TV were working very well. Communication with the agency which manages the cabin was clear and very pleasant. We had a great stay there, would recommend the cabin very much.

the effort in advance was a bit much with the need for a seperate account needed at the agency site and a seperate rental agreement, which I had not yet experienced before. However as stated communication was good through the whole process

The wood smelled like clean new wood! The kitchen was beyond perfect-the best I’ve ever seen in a short term rental

We really enjoyed our stay at this fabulous property. Everything was wonderful and just perfect - the location, peace and quiet, comfort and all the facilities the cabin had to offer. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the porch taking in the wonderful views of the Smokies as well as enjoying the hot tub. Thank you for letting us stay. We will be back!
