The house was nice and everything we saw in listing was just how it was. Owner provided great instructions on how to check in, check out, and there was a great list of nearby hikes provided. We did some of them and they were great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. Enjoyed our stay here. Only thing I'd suggest is air freshener in the house. Perhaps no one had stayed there for a while before our stay, but we noticed a musty smell when we walked in. It wasn't a problem during our stay, though -- we did notice it when we arrived, though. I'd stay here again as it was comfortable and the owners were helpful with their suggestions for dining and hiking.

The house was nice, spacious and clean inside. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean, including the fridge.
However, the house/property did not look as great as on the photos. The back deck was rather dirty. Deck chairs showed signs of aging.
Side tables for drinks/snacks on the back deck were not available. Also not any possibility to eat outside. That was a disappointment. The street noise for us was disturbing, and was different as described.
The "handbook"was very informative and useful.
Any questions presented to the landlords were answered immediately.
Overall our stay was enjoyable and pleasant.

We were visiting Clayton for a family wedding and it was a convenient stay for us. Everything about check in and check out was very thorough and easy, the house was as described and great for our party (one couple, two singles). Thanks to the hosts!
*As of May 2024, there is no Uber/lyft available to this house, which is obviously no fault to the owners, but this was unclear by googling the address prior to our stay.

The property is very nice and spacious but still cozy. There was more than enough room for our party of six and the people there are EXTREMELY NICE AND FRIENDLY!! The hosts were Amazing and communication was a breeze, I Highly recommend!! Easy self access. Lots of helpful information provided and just an all around GREAT TIME! We Will be back again and look forward to it! Thanks for these wonderful memories!!

Family and friends stayed at the Cappy’s cabin for our son’s rehearsal dinner/wedding at Kingwood Golf Resort/Chatooga Belle Farms. The cabin is wonderful and cozy, like in the pictures. Our hosts were terrific, and very accommodating. If in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

Nice home that was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed. Appliances were new and everything worked as advertised. The only negative was the deck out back had a lot of carpenter ants and we killed a few spiders on the first day. Some of this is to be expected. It is the Georgia mountains and summer, after all. Probably compounded by trees being close to the house but after the first day we didn’t have anymore issues. We would rent again but more likely in the fall or winter. Very convenient to downtown Clayton. We had a very nice overall experience.

Stayed for two nights with my wife and four kids. We loved it! 7yo's comment: "I didn't imagine THIS!" There are a lot of us, but all slept comfortably. Spacious living room made family time in the evening easy. Well-equipped kitchen meant everyone got to eat their favorites for breakfast and dinner. Our only complaint: we didn't stay longer!

Very nice house in Clayton Georgia. House is well stocked and was clean. It wasn’t hard to get up the drive way. WiFi worked. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Washer and dryer had laundry detergent. The owners do make you sign an additional contract and email it to them after making your reservation, but they didn’t charge a cleaning fee. The only negative is that the house is close to the highway and at night you can hear the vehicles. I would stay again.

I would recommend to anyone that is considering renting this property to obtain and read the contract you will be required to sign, before you make any deposit. There are pages of rules, regulations and consequences. Had we reviewed the contract, prior to putting a deposit on the property, we would not have selected this location for our getaway. The bed in the master bedroom was broken down and you could not access the porch from the master as the vertical blinds were inoperative. I emailed the property owner to make them aware of the issues with the master bedroom and inform them that the screens on the entry door were both torn. The house was definitely clean on the inside. As indicated by the owner, the four lane is close, so there is a fair amount of road noise at this property. We travel with our noise machine, so we just turned up the volume.

Great location near downtown Clayton - a perfect weekend getaway for the family. Property was as pictured, very clean and welcoming. The owners provided detailed instructions covering just about every question you could ask - shared beforehand and also conveniently in a notebook in the home. Our stay was excellent! My boyfriend kept telling me how nice the home is. We will definitely stay at this property in the future. I had several questions prior to our arrival and they were both very timely with their responses. They provide all the information to you about the property in email so you know what to expect, as long as you read it!! Lovely home and very close to top rated places to explore. Also as a bonus , Fortify PI has delicious Pizza and wings!!

This lovely home provided my family a great setting for a relaxing Thanksgiving. With a great kitchen, separate dining room and accommodating local restaurants we were able to enjoy our traditional meal and still find time to explore the mountain views and holiday shopping.

This property was on edge of town with wooded views. It had lots of windows to enjoy nature. House was spacious, very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked with the exception of an outside grill. Owner was very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the area and Clayton.

The property was amazing, was conviently close to many things to do. We hiked several different trails and state parks. Went white water rafting, and had great food all within 15-20 minute drive!! Highly recommened!!
