We have stayed in this hotel many times and nothing has gotten worse, but this time there were more visitors and there were fewer chairs on the beach, but it was also resolved immediately. Excellent location, right on the main street. The beach is great, a lot of effort (palm trees) and the sunbeds are new. Breakfast good, variety.

Location was great. Right on the waterfront. The beach was clean and lots of sun beds to relax on. The room was excellent for the price. Breakfast was good. Many options. The cocktails were really good and strong.

There was a man who was working at the hotel (labourer) who walked right up to me filming me when I was about to go and swim in the ocean. He was filming women in their swimwear. I told the staff at reception who seemed quite concerned but I saw the man working there the next day.

The location was absolutely fantastic… we stayed in the sea front bungalow. Seeing the sea view as you first walk out is the best thing. The bungalow was clean and had air con which kept inside cool. Breakfast was included every morning, which was a breakfast buffet. Hidden away from the Main Street was so quiet at night (minus the bar next door but that wasn’t an issue) bungalow was cleaned every day, fresh towels including a beach towel changed every morning. Staff were so lovely and helpful, helped us sort out trips and even our washing. Lots of restaurants on the main road as well as in a good location. All in all a perfect relaxing get a way.

Exactly what we expected. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and all the water sports equipment easily available.

Great little strip of the beach - not all accommodations are as fortunate. We booked the beachfront bungalows which were 20m to the pool and 30m to the shore. Lying under the shade of the trees on the beach and sitting on your porch watching the sunsets was fantastic. The photos are pretty spot on. Breakfasts were very good and a wonderful selection of eateries for dinner are in close proximity - lots of variety very close. A decent walk into town / night market, but a cheap taxi is super quick. The Front Desk staff were very helpful and helped us arrange our own day trip to Hon Thom Island - the waterpark. A must if travelling with your kids.

All good was happy to stay there.

Beach front bungalows are gorgeous. Rooms are large and tidy. Breakfast buffet is delicious. The staff went above and beyond our entire 8 day stay. Rooms cleaned daily and all amenities topped up. Pool is large and clean. Towels provided. Umbrellas for sun protection are provided and come in handy when out during the days. Hotel staff will organise and arrange anything you require. Plenty of food close by. Cant fault the hotel at all!

Didnt dislike anything. Only suggestion would be to add some shade sails over the pool to protect you as you swim in the day time!

Very good room for this price, hotel's beach is clean, free from peoples and very good. Star beach and bai sao are much, much dirtier (at least in our time). Good breakfast. Yes, this is a Swedish buffet, but tasty, a lot of choise. Location is 1.5 km from night market. Attention! Resort has a wrong place at MapsMe, its better to use GMAPS. Some taxi drivers also have a wrong point in navigators.

Not a good exchange rate for euro at reception. I recommend a bank near night market.

Very very close to the beach. Comfortable bed. Nice gardens. Liked the chairs outside in front of the rooms. Lot of shadow places on the beach beneath the palm trees.

There are a lot of mosquitoes outside and jn the room (fortunately there is a mosquito net in the room). The bathroom is quite large, but can be improved a lot. The curtains are see-through, giving you the idea you do not have much privacy.

We stayed in a beachfront Bungalow which was only metres from the beach. Great beach lounges provided and beautiful coconut palms for shade. The beach is kept spotless by the staff. Location is quiet but is only a couple of kilometres to town. Many nice restaurants within walking distance

We had a beach bungalow, and it was fantastic to sit on our comfortable terrace watching the sea and the sunsets. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room and hotel were very well maintained. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafés within an easy walking distance from the hotel as well as their own restaurant on the beach. We enjoyed our stay at Sea Star tremendously and have already booked another stay there 🤗

Some surrounding hotels play music in the evenings much too high. They should play for their own guests and their own area, not their neighbours.

The staff was very nice and helpful. We loved the beach and the whole resort because it looked just like the pictures and had a nice vibe.

Be sure to book a beachfront bungalow. They are big and are all 20m from water. Resort is at the best wide part of Long beach with natural palm tree shade. The pool is also great. Many restaurants and shops nearby.

At night there is music from beach clubs but it’s not that bad, and only until 1am. Breakfast is very good but only until 09:30am.

Location, nice and clear beach, staff very helpful, pool, good price. breakfast was ok, fresh fruits. Bungalow was cleaned every day. Wi-fi everywhere but on the beach was sometimes weak

Breakfast was tasty, but quality of products could be better. Room was spacious, comfortable, just needs some additional table or bench, to place your stuff.
