Great hotel!

No complaints at all. Our son attends FDU and this is a very convenient location to be pretty close by

My favorite hotel to stay in when visiting the NYC or North Jersey area. An easy drive to the city, close to multiple bus stops, and a 20 minute walk from NJ Transit’s Essex Station.

Great stay here! Staff was friendly, we commuted to the us open from here. Room was good, great shower!! Only smudge was the carpet in 315 was very worn and noticeable. We didn’t mind it, but it took away from the overall ambiance of the room

There were some folks throwing a party in one of the bedrooms I had to call the reception several times to have the noise stop. It was really a painful experience, I asked to change room but they couldn’t accommodate me.

I stayed two nights, it was a good hotel. But everything is too expensive in hotel they sell one small bottle of water $3.50. Make sure get your needs from outside.

Great staff very friendly and helpful. Easy parking and the bus to New York is close by.

Noisy location next to a very busy major highway plus air traffic.

Property was good to stay in for a wedding in the area.

Attention immediately

The location of this hotel is convenient as the highway entrances and exits are right by the hotel. We did have an issue with our sheets stinking like they were in a smoking room and a few towels had a horrible retched stench. House keeping immediately replaced the sheets and towels. Overall the parking was easy and checking in and out was fast. I give this hotel a 3/5.

The room was extremely hot the first few nights including the floor I was on. I considered moving rooms, but due to how late at night it was I didn't. I barely slept the first few nights because of this. Other than that the hotel was nice.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at this location and enjoythe ease and friendliness of the staff.

Lovely and convenient accommodations.

Disappointed in my stay. Wish I had stayed somewhere else. Came to Hackensack for a work trip. Immediately, tons of people congregated and smoking in the hotel parking lot. Lobby is bare bones. There was a check in desk and a few seats. Two people at the check in desk—one lady glued to her phone with her face fixed staring down at it while I waited for a second employee to finish up with the guest ahead of me so I could check in. When you check in, you get handed two water bottles to bring up to your room with you. Why not just stock this in the rooms? My room on the 11th floor was right off the elevators. Which would be fine except the other guests for whatever reason decided to congregate in this area at all hours of the night having loud conversations in the hallway and kids running around. The room was clean and had most things as expected—bed, tv, a desk, lighting. Bed was generally not the most comfortable and the sheets were hard as a board. This coupled with all the nighttime activity outside the room (despite the posted signs for quiet hours after 10pm) resulted in terrible sleep. I got woken up at 12:30 AM to loud noise and people slamming doors. I was exhausted during the next day. Wish I had stayed somewhere else.

Hotel was very clean & staff was extremely friendly (besides the security guy lol). The room was beautiful and spacious. Only complaint I had was that was shower water was warm at best.. but honestly it wasn’t a big deal!

Really liked the renovation this facility underwent. Bright and airy and clean. Has a very nice bar. Staff was great. Room was clean. Only issue was the bathroom. They definitely took shortcuts with the updates as there were some new and old items in the bathroom. (Old small sink but brand new LED mirror ) Shower water was not hot at all. The shower heads weren’t working properly. Shower rod fell without even touching it. Otherwise it as a good experience.
