Front desk was barely helpful. Had food delivered and no one called me. The front desk looks like they are asleep. The customer service in general is kind of a joke. The room service I ordered was terrible as well. Finally the hot water stopped working in my room. I don’t get the appeal and the rating of this hotel. I did not get the service that I paid for. Not coming back to this hotel.

This is our go-to hotel when we visit our daughter in Dallas. We love the boutique hotel vibe and the great bar area. The service is consistently great from the front desk to the valet.

Room was noisy due to the hotel’s AC ducting running continuously even when room’s AC not on, bathroom had a continue musty smell, unless the extractor was left on permanently adding to the noise level. The musty smell recommenced even after maintenance left a dehumidifier in the bathroom for several hours. Asked for a room change, but hotel only had one room available which had the same noise issues. Upon arrival in the room was a pair of women’s pants left in a drawer, which was mentioned to reception, but still there when we vacated the room. I am concerned for the level of room received was because we booked through Hotels.com and not directly with the hotel. During our Texas trip we have a further 6 more hotels booked through Hotel.com and hope things improve.

A nostalgic hotel, like stepping back in time. Kids loved the pool. In the heart of the city surrounded by sky scrapers. Restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Had very bad 2 nights, the AC made a lot of noise all night long, could sleep.
I was also charged for using WiFi and its supposed to be free for Bonvoy Members. I even have a video if you want evidence.

Nice staff, but room was hot. Asked for fan, but they told me I had to go to the front desk to get it at 1 am she was short staffed. I asked for the 2nd floor, but was given the 10th. Not our favorite stay at Le Meridian.

We had a few crickets in our room. Scared the crap out of me. Also recieved a random charge from the bar which we never went to nor used. We still haven't heard back about that or been offered a refund. Check your folio carefully. Apparently added charges is common at this location per previous reviews. I assumed they had gotten it together. The shower was finicky... our options were hot as satans fire place or tepid. There wasn't much of an in-between. It's a shame because it is a great location if you are trying to catch a concert and your out of town, but not worth it.

Stunning historic art deco hotel. Not the cleanest and most well maintained hotel I’ve stayed in though. There were two dead bugs next to the bathtub. We also were bombarded with the smell of marijuana smoke from a nearby room and it smelled like it was literally in our room. Otherwise our stay was pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable.

A clean and elegant update to a timeless hotel in uptown. Only thing missing is a good dining option. The hotel staff was ok. The gentleman at the restaurant was very nice along with the valet staff. The other staff was average.

Was very disappointed in my stay. The day I arrived the common areas were very warm on a summer day. The soap dish in my bath was hanging by a screw. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with no top sheet/ it was miserable having this heavy down comforter in the middle of summer as my only type of cover. Loved the location for my stay but not sure I would stay again.

We were sent to a room with double beds like we ordered and it and the hallways were dirty and smelled like sewer. Then, sent to a king suite with pullout and not provided sheets for the sleeper sofa. When we asked for bedding we were given one sheet and then we requested to get another bed bc 2 adults on this tiny awful sleeper sofa was not going to work. And then somehow when we ask for another king room they suddenly have a double available, but instead of letting 2 of us go to that room and the other 2 of us stay in the room we’ve unpacked and gotten ready for bed in, they want us to all unpack and move to the other room if we want it. It was terrible service and not impressive accommodations.

For a 4 star hotel, this is an underwhelming property. The room itself was ok--nothing fancy. Water pressure was mediocre, no Netflix or streaming options on the TV, chair had questionable stains on it. $45/night for valet is a little nutty.
