The hotel is the best place to stay in Clearwater. Nice resort with private beach and excellent service . Rooms are updated and very nice and spacious. Highly recommend the resort .

Everything was amazing

The location was incredible. I enjoyed moving from the pool to the beach. However, I was alone at the pool -- and not once did the wait staff check in on me or ask if I needed anything. No one was using the flags on their chairs, btw. I saw many couples being treated like royalty . . . but it was a very isolating experience. The rooms were fine for the price point. My only disappointments were when I interacted with staff in the pool and restaurant area.

Stayed for one night in March and it was a horrible experience. Tried to get lunch when we first arrived, and waited 8 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. Served the wrong food and on top of that the chicken was undercooked. Waited for 15 minutes before asking a different server to help, then instead of apologizing for disappearing, she just blamed it on the kitchen. Pool area was ok but then we were given ripped towels with stains on them. The bathroom had no toilet paper in 3 out of 4 stalls and there was MENSTRAL blood on the toilet seat and floor. Room had a mildew smell to it. Submitted a review soon after we came home but it has not been posted under the reviews so I am resending my review. I was contacted soon after by the Front Desk manager but was unable to answer. I have since left 4 messages for him and 2 messages for the Assistant General Manager. Now not only was our experience awful and disgusting but the management is Unprofessional. if you dont intend on speaking to me to try to make it better, why call me in the first place? Do not recommend.

I would not recommend for my friends or family to stay in this hotel. The restaurant service was terrible. We are travel everywhere in the world.but we have not been treated rude by manager of restaurant. We won’t stay in whole opal collection hotel as well . Bed management.

Everything was as expected What i didn’t like that they charge 30$ for using the umbrella on the beach Also I left the note at 9 am outside the room door to clean my room and wasn’t cleaned until after 5 pm I had to walk to the cleaners and remind them

Disappointing Stay Amidst a Hurricane I recently stayed at SandPearl during a particularly difficult time as we had to travel there amidst a hurricane. Despite the challenging weather, we hoped for a comfortable stay, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Upon ordering room service, we were horrified to find a roach in our food. This not only ruined our appetite but also raised concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the hotel. We immediately contacted the staff, who apologized but the damage was already done. The stress of traveling during a hurricane was compounded by the lack of attention to cleanliness and proper service. While I understand that the weather conditions were beyond the hotel's control, maintaining a clean environment is essential regardless of external circumstances. Overall, our experience at SandPearl was disappointing, and I hope they take necessary measures to improve their hygiene standards in the future. I would not recommend this hotel based on my recent experience.

Used to love it here. Definitely didn’t live up to the Sand Pearl’s former glory days. It’s a great place to stay if your company is paying but if you are paying $600 a night to overlook air conditioner units, swim in a dirty pool area it’s not money well spent. Room was dirty with used robes and soap when we arrived, the pool tile is moldy, the chairs are falling apart. The same pieces of food remained on the pool deck the whole weekend which attracted birds. Definitely not worth my dollar. The opal collection needs to pour some money into this place fast to remain at all competitive! I love this end of the beach because it’s quieter but I regret not staying at opal sands! Also would be good to have a full length mirror in the rooms.

Avoid if you have kids with autism, overpriced , what you pay for hotel on booking is apparently just a deposit well my deposit was 12.5 GBP , tate island grill food was terrible was told sofa bed would be put away everyday and put back down on turn down never happened once checked out on last day to book into another hotel my opening line says the reason for that front of house staff are rude a generally couldn’t care less manager Daniel should no be manager wish I would of read recent reviews before booking

Loved our stay. Didn’t love the fact parking was only valet and we never drove our car the entire stay but still had to pay 40 a night. But overall was great would return!
