I was underwhelmed by pretty much everything in the hotel except for the Japanese restaurant inside the building. The mattress felt like cardboard boxes with a thing layer of cushion on top, the bathroom was “clean” but not renovated in some time. The hallways still had water stained carpet from the typhoons last year. I paid extra for a premium room with lounge access and breakfast. The breakfast wasn’t served till after I had to leave for work, and the day I could actually eat it, I couldn’t eat any of the food (breads, cold cereal, side salads, deli meat/cheese, yogurt and juice) because of dietary restrictions… I can’t believe that was $20+ a night. The server was kind enough to fill my coffee cup on Monday morning before the lounge opened, but I wasn’t able to use the self-serve espresso machine to make a decent cup of coffee. I tried also using The on-site exercise room, but it didn’t open until well after I left for the office, and closed shortly after dinner. So , I also wasn’t able to use that. The hotel seems like it used to be the must-stay-at destination 20 years ago, but it hasn’t been updated since then. Great views, good service, but sub-par amenities and rooms.

Our stay was perfect. Friendly staff, clean facilities and room and plenty to do and eat. The bfast buffet was delicious. I only wish the pool had longer hours. Other than that great place to stay. We will be back!

It was a great time for my family.

The rooms smelled musty and the carpets are very dirty. We left for dinner and our room was picked up but the extra towels we received earlier in the day were taken from our room and some of our things had been gone through.

I stayed just 2 days with my friend. It was great to stay in the hotel and play at the pool. Above all, the hospitality of the hotel staff was awesome. Because he said to us “I want you guys to have fun” changed our checkout time from 12 to 3 pm and gave some gifts. So we spent the perfect 2 days you know. I'm glad his kind. I definitely will come to this hotel again!! Thank you so much. I appreciate that.

Overall the Nikko Guam was excellent. The dining staff were great and friendly. The club amenities were nice as well.

Small yet very private beach compared to other compatible hotels in Guam.

The Hotel Nikko was a good place. The location is nice - close to all the spots in Tamuning, but still quiet. The room was fine, but could have had more attention to cleaning - the bathroom had hair in the corners. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Have been lucky enough to stay at most of the hotels in the Tumon strip. This was the nicest and most accommodating one yet. I don’t think too many places can compare, great experience and prices as well.

Security issues are my concerns. Housekeeping knocked on my door and right as I was about to pull the door open, a female from housekeeping opens it with her are 2 men that seem to be part of the staff in another department. Really strange as they looked at each other and then told me they are looking for a tool bag. I told them I had been in the room for 3 days and there was no tool bag in the room. Long story short … I reportEd the wired interaction and upon managements investigation I was told they did not have any surveillance footage and that female housekeeper said she did visit me but was alone. That right there is proof to me that they were up to no good. I will never stay at this hotel again. If I wasn’t in my room at that moment.. who knows what could have happened. They have a security issue that needs to be addressed immediately.

Getting old, a few issues in a room

The bathtub had poor drainage and water pooled in it.

The hotel is pretty old but functionable. Housekeeping is really not up to par. They did not change the bedsheet at all for our 1 week stay. There was a day where totally no housekeeping at all. :( Inform the staff to do housekeeping later in the afternoon or later but they did not seem to understand. The bathtub was clogged due to excessive hairs and this proved that the housekeeping did not do a thorough cleaning for continuous 3 days. We experienced short circuit a day too. Not to eat at hotel lobby or pool side as the flies are of commando level. Really hope the hotel can consider a much better systematic way of housekeeping. However, tour trolley bus and walk to the city center area is pretty convenient.

My family and I enjoyed it very much! The staff was courteous and very polite! The rooms were clean and one of my favorite parts was THE FREE HUSKEE CUPS! I never got so excited hehe, thank you all so much!!

Outstanding service. Exceptional view. Reasonable price. But the Out door fire exit stairs are not all clean and with trash and cigarette butts on the floor.

Someone front desk staff has sturdy expression, so it makes feel uncomfortable during stay Nikko. I think maybe you can find in a short time if you see front dest at the check in time.

The location was perfect! It was the best snorkeling spot! The staff were also extremely kind and helpful. The rooms looked a bit old but they were very clean and the beds were comfy so I have nothing to complain about! I would stay again! Thank you Nikko Hotel!

Staff and services are excellent. Property is older so flushing toilet took few times for our kids each time. Little thing like faucet to be fixed etc would have made the little thing better. But, Overall, food, stuff and room was excellent. Friendly stuff, spacious room and large balcony, good breakfast, access to pool was easy. long slide was a hit for my kid. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed comfortably with a family of 5. The hotel was relaxing and my children enjoyed the pool and slide. The beach is accessible with rental gear for pool and beach. The staff were all friendly.

I forgot my watch at the hotel. He looked for it properly and sent it back to me.
