We had a banquet in the hotel at 6:00 pm but told we couldn't check in until 4:00; room wasn't ready. Staff was still cleaning rooms after 6:00 pm; must be short staff. When we arrived at 4:00, there was a line and it took 35 minutes. Safe in room 622 did not work; kept getting error message. Bed was very comfortable. Room was nice.

I booked two rooms, the girl at the front desk argued with me that I didn’t. Even argued with the man that she called over to help. The rooms were not handicap accessible like I had booked. Changed one room. Tub had brown water standing in it and the light fixture hanging from the ceiling above the tub. Room service finally came about 9:20 pm to clean tub and then they pointed out the light fixture. Maintained came right up and fixed it. Room was clean other than that. We finally got to bed around 11pm. My elderly mother was completely exhausted!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills this weekend. The hotel is conveniently located near both highways and major thoroughfares. I was there to celebrate a milestone with friends, and my daughter wanted to go to the casino. The hotel is beautiful inside and well-appointed.
I loved our room's rain shower head and the large TV. What was not so great was how cold the hotel was. Thank goodness we could control the temperature in our room, which we set to a balmy 71 degrees.
My only other observation is that the outside of the hotel shows its age. The landscaping and parking areas both need an update.

This review could have been a perfect 5 all around. The breakfast was excellent and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Unfortunately the mini fridge was way too cold. I reported this at the beginning of our stay and they sent maintenance to fix it. It was never fixed and subsequently my prescription diabetes medication, worth nearly $1000, froze solid and is now useless. The hotel manager took no responsibility for their faulty equipment. I am extremely disappointed in this, since Marriott is a chain usually associated with excellence.

The room was great very comfortable and cozy...big shower very nice. The entire staff was super friendly. The only hiccup we had was when asking for new linens, I think the person working the desk forgot to write it down. Hey we're all human. They took care of it right away when I asked again. I would definitely go back. It was a very nice experience.

THE MAID SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. ONE DAY AT 5 PM I ARRIVED WITH MY ROOM NOT TOUCHED! I HAD TO SIT ON THE SOFA WHILE SHE CHANGED THE SHEETS ON THE BED. HER ATTITUDE WAS VERY POOR. EVERY DAY THE ROOM AND BATHROOM WERE NOT CLEANED PROPERLY.

Great property very quiet and clean. Comfortable beds and love a cold room and hot shower. Was only there for one night but would definitely stay here again. The only thing I was disappointed with was the coffee from Starbucks so don’t waste your money.

Marriot southern hills overbooked and they told us they didn’t have a room for us. I called the night before to double check as well as got to the hotel early to tell them we weren’t going to be back to check in until 9or 10. We had three rooms reserved, one had to be refunded due to no AC and smell of marijuana in the room. Thankfully we were able to make do with only 2 rooms. The AC in our room also really struggled and it wasn’t even very hot outside.
Terrible bathroom experience. There is no lock on the sliding door, and the shower is completely clear glass—not good for a privacy. Also, the sliding shower doors would not stay shut. Tried everything, but a few inches open at one end was the best we got.
The breakfast was decent, but we paid additional for breakfast buffet on both our rooms but were then told once we got there that it only covered two people—we had to pay additional for the others. If we had known that before we sat down, we would have gladly saved the breakfast fee on our rooms and eaten out at a nicer establishment for the same cost. Very frustrating, and was not made clear at booking or checkin that it only included 2 guests. We travel for our kids sports constantly, and I’ve never encountered that policy.
Finally, valet failed us. At checkout I was alone with my toddler and all our luggage while my husband took the other kids to where they needed to be. There was no valet attendant there and after waiting a while, I had to ask the front desk to try to contact them. Turns out they were at the airport. The front desk was able to get me my key, but then I had to walk across the parking lots with all our stuff and my toddler in tow. Beyond frustrating!
