Amazing stay and great service

Room I paid for wasn’t ready; had problems with our water. I was charged extra money for A room upgrade that was already part of my booking. Piece of furniture was falling apart from restroom.

Excellent service

The front desk was very helpful., when we requested a late stay. The bell boy that helped us leaving was extremely helpful and went out of his way for us to help us with directions to our next destination. Unfortunately I don’t remember these gentlemen’s names.

The hotel is located in a nice area, public transportation is available, stores and restaurant at walking distance. The property is well maintained, and clean, however, it looks outdated.

Second time I stay at this hotel (usually stay in hotels in the Polanco neighborhood). I loved the location; right across the most iconic monument of Mexico, the Angel de la independencia, on one of the city’s most important avenues and in the heart of the city. The hotel is an old property but the outside and inside are very well maintained and updated. The first time I stayed here, I was put in the Reforma Tower. The room was great with all the amenities you find in any Sheraton in the USA. My second stay here, I was put in another tower, as soon as the elevator opened, I stepped back 20+ years. The hallways and the room are very outdated. I was disappointed that at the time of booking and choosing the room, the pictures shown are not of the room I booked.

My only complaint was my room didn’t smell good when I walked in. Not sure if I acclimated to the smell or it went away.
