I have stayed at a few double trees and this is the only one that is so thight withe the Free Cookies that it makes me sick.

Ok for a 2 day stay but they need shelves and hooks in bathroom. Everything needs to be placed on the floor.

overall was a good clean hotel. the breakfast was a little disappointing but other then that it was good.

TV didn't work. Called maintenence and it took about 1/2 hour to get it going. Then at night tried to shower but shower head did not work.😠

We were told we would get a call when our room was ready but we never did..
Our room was in the back of the hotel there were no directions to lead you to the front lobby that was pretty far away. The place is like a maze. But the room was great!

Decent for the age of the property. Better experience, bigger and cleaner, than Holiday Inn a couple hotels over. Included breakfast was great value and good quality. You order restaurant style instead of buffet.

Building was old, look dingy and in-room smell musty odor but the room was up to date decor and spacious. Nice lobby and friendly staff, fast check in and out, Good location.

My daughter and I came to town for her State Boards, spent a great night, used the hot tub, sat on the balcony, had a wonderful breakfast with Edith being an absolute gem! While my daughter took her exam I asked for a late checkout and received it, we ended up not needing it but was grateful for it! And as always the cookies were warm and delicious when we checked in.

Welcomed by staff . Room was clean, comfortable and light. Close to local shopping and dining easy access to freeway.

The stay is sooo awful and I can not sleep for the whole night due to the noise. The toilet is auto-flushing every 3-5 mins and the room is next to the road and parking lot and the noise is soooo bothering and I believe nobody can fall asleep. I lived in the 746 room which is really noisy, and when the next room taking shower or flush the toilet, our room can hear it clearly clearly!

I can understand how the Bakersfield doubletree was once a four star hotel. The room was spacious and had an attempted remodel. I would probably stay elsewhere next time.

The stay was nice. The room space was good. Gym was smallish but fine. Had to get towels from front desk and compete with people checking in. None at the pool. But the pool was good size. Other than that it was overall good

Everything was great, only one night and wasn’t in the hotel room much except to sleep. However, there were only two towels and three of us. I know we could have asked for another towel, but didn’t discover it until it was late in the night. If two towels is standard, would be nice to ask if any additional towels are needed when we checked in. The room was large enough we didn’t feel cramped. Bed was comfortable too.

Staff was great. Place is outdated. Rooms need remodeling. South elevator needs to be inspected. I felt like the cables were going to snap. We stopped using it after the 2nd or 3rd time. And we are on the 4th floor.

The hotel was not what I expected from a Hilton but it served its purpose.

I understand everything that went wrong during out stay. However, it still happened. It was inconvenient that there is no service elevator for the staff. This means that upon arrival and most time when we left the hotel, we had to wait for the elevator to clear because it was full of the cleaning cart. The fire alarm went off at about 8pm causing us to have to evacuate the building due to a mechanical error. However there was no staff available to let us know what was going on. No one came over the an intercom to let us know and no one answered the front desk phone when we called. Finally, I saw a staff member and was able to find that it was safe to return to our room. I did not sleep well. I don't blame the hotel for these incidents that just happened, but they did happen.

Comfortable place. Shower faucet / valve not very intuitive; need engineering degree to figure out how to use. I’m sure there’s quite a bit of broken hardware. Carpet makes room feel icky specially if it’s stained. Bartender (PM Sunday) was super friendly and helpful. We needed a toothbrush but the vending kiosk was out. When I asked at reception they said sorry but kiosk is operated by a third party so there’s nothing they could do. Had to walk several blocks to a convenience store at a gas station that was open to buy one.

I booked 2 rooms. One of them had roaches coming from headboard. The A/C in that room sounded super noisy whenever it turned on. I booked this hotel because parking lot had superchargers which would be convenient during our trip. Terrible mistake.
For what its worth, the second room was clean and a/c was normal. But i wont gamble on such things again.

Ok, let’s start with this hotel being in Bakersfield. Most people stay for one night. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless and updated. The check in was easy. Parking was fine. I do recommend they put up a sign in the building showing you what direction the elevator is going. That was a little confusing but they did give you a map. We got the breakfast for a small extra fee by signing up for the free cancellation which was a minimal fee. It was worth it. The breakfast was great and the waitress was the best waitress I might have ever had. She was amazing. It is right off a freeway. If you need a place to stay for a night this hotel is well worth the cost.
