Exceptional experience staying here, it basically covered all of our expectations. I highly recommend staying here while visiting to everyone.

Great location and great beach area. However, the beds and pillows need to be replaced. They are not comfortable. Will stay here again once they get new beds and pillows.

Great location and breath taking view . Santa Marghareta is very nice coastal town . The hotel is very clean and the staff are very effecient .

Had a good stay at a place which delivered what you'd expect. Hotel is 50's-chiq in this typical Italy riviera style, so not modern but also not worn-down. Clean and well taken-care of. Very service minded staff although not so smiley as they were last time (which we like when they are). These were more serious but very service-minded. Breakfast setting amazing with the view but breakfast content a bit of a disappointment. We had a better one at the place we stay at the nights before at less than half the price. No egg station, few bread options and not a lot of fresh fruit (just melon, apple etc.). View and location are the big pluses and price + the fact parking is not included in such a price is just a mistake. (Who arrives to Santa Margherita without a car? Then include parking in the price).

Excellent swimming facilities

The hotel was beautiful. The room has a gorgeous balcony with amazing views of the beach and town. The private beach was so nice to have and worth paying more $ for, compared to hotels without it. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel! Fantastic View over the sea. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Everytrhing wirked perfect - we will most certainly be back.

The outside spaces at the hotel are great and the service is very good. The room is a little dated but was comfortable and a nice size. The breakfast was really nice and the views excellent. Parking is expensive at 25 euros per day.

The views are lovely but everything else about staying at Hotel Continental is depressing. The rooms are very dated and the beds are old and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are old they seem dirty and the breakfast was like hospital food. We spent 3 weeks in Italy and this was the most expensive place we stayed and it wasnt worth it. The location is nice so it seems like they stopped trying. I do not recommend.

The single rooms are worse than cells The upper floors are scruffy It needs major investments Its not cheap but no better than 2star

This is our 3rd stay at Hotel Continental. It is a very lovely hotel, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is very accommodating. Location and view Stu. I got. A few things to note:We arrived with jet lag and breakfast was over by the time we arrived. Just check what time it ends.The parking was easy and convenient.Drinks at the bar were lovely.My only complaint- the water front area was confusing. Certain chairs may look empty, but are “reserve” for summer renters, not hotel guests. The waterfront attendants were rude on our last day. Pulled us out of the water for using what we thought was a hotel float- told us it was “privee”. It was confusing. And it’s 20euro a day to rent chairs by waterfront. Last time we stayed they were free.

We had an amazing stay at the Continental. We were pleasantly surprised by its walking distance from the train station (however there is a bit of a hill you have to walk up with your luggage but our 80 year old parents were able to conquer it). The location is beautiful and walking into town was a breeze. The staff was exquisite as was the beautiful breakfast. The only thing that was not perfect was that the pillows were a bit flat and firm...just a minor detail that was overshadowed by a beautiful and memorable experience!! We all agreed we would return to The Continental over and over!! A magical place!

We had a nice stay and the hotel is in a great location but it is very expensive and we ended up in one of the worst corner rooms, no view and quite noisy with the street on two sides. The hotel wasn’t busy at all when we were there so that was very disappointing.

The view of the hotel is amazing, The satff is very helpful and friendly.

The property was the nicest in S. Margherita Ligure. Dining room staff and meals were delicious, and reading on the terrace in those lovely swinging benches is a forever memory!

Great location and very helpful staff. Station and harbour all within a 5-10 walk.
