Nice hotel with excellent service. I think the room could profit from a modern revamp. Mine was rather dark colored decorated.

Nice stay first time at the Marriott in BKK. Room was well appointed they left room in my fridge for my personal stuff. Cleaned daily even at awkward hours with no trouble at all. Bed was very comfortable, shower worked great wifi was quick. Staff makes the property even better, attentive and always trying to lend a hand or interpret/negotiate a cab fare for you. Checked me in quickly and easily at 2am after a very lengthy trip to Asia from NYC. Only thing I wouldn't do again was the breakfast. It is elaborate, it is bountiful, it is also $30usd. I attribute the large pricetag to Marriott trying to appease global taste perferences. There was Arabic breakfast, Asian breakfast, Indian breakfast, American Breakfast and even vegan choices. For someone that is content with eggs, bacon and some fruit all of it is unessecary there is an American breakfast restaurant a 4min walk that serves breakfast all day for 1/3rd the price. Proximity to nightlife and train was amazing. I would definitely stay in fact I WILL stay again next summer. Thank You

The spa gives complimentary access to sauna, steam room and cold plunge which are amazing and help regulate jet lag. The main lobby has a pianist which is amazing and the staff is incredible all around.

Pretty good. Given a non-smoking room which stank of cigarettes and also had very rowdy neighbours so got moved to a suite. Ruined one night of our stay though.

I was part of the Executive Club which gave many benefits that I normally have to pay for. The staff were the best I have ever experience. The maid service (a girl with braces)
called me by my name after my second day and went out of her way to greet me daily.
What I didn't like was the pool area. The pool area needed to be upgraded with fixing the potted tree's and tiles around the pool area. The two people caring for the plants were great. They took great care in what they were doing. A definite come back to hotel. Thank you

The staff at the JW Marriott went out of their way to ensure our stay was great.
The breakfast buffet was fantastic, it’s not often nowadays that you get such good quality food in a buffet.

The hotel room looked directly at Nana Plaza, one of the worst prostitution bar areas of Bangkok. The noise of those bars went on all night. The hotel itself is old and has only been partially renovated. The in-room renovations are not very well done - why is there only one drawer in the wardrobe and no others in the room? Why was the yellowing fire alarm on the ceiling not replaced? Why place a shower cubicle in the corner when it make the space in front of the toilet too narrow. The gym looks like it hasn't been renovated for at least 10 years. Overall this hotel should not be a JW Marriott hotel; it does not offer the aspirational luxury experience that the brand is supposed to stand for.

As a solo Indian American - The staff needs to be trained while providing foreign exchange and at the dinning area. While heading down for breakfast on two occasions - I was told the breakfast is expensive ! Once during lunch again I was told the same thing ! And then during Dinning I was told that it is shutting down - we still had 20 mins left for dinner dining. The security guard asked me on two occasions where do i go ? The dining staff / security made my Thai guests uncomfortable by starring at them.

The buffet served at one of restaurants was bad. Limited choice, bad tasting, and the seafood was not fresh. My husband and I had slight diarrhea after eating a few raw oysters.
