This hotel was right on the edge of the Liberty University campus and across the street from Liberty’s indoor track complex. The room and facilities were very clean. Staff were friendly. The only downside we had was the beds were extremely hard making it so none of us got much sleep.

They were nice and let us check in early, which was nice. The room was clean. The bathroom was dark, no light in the shower at all and very dim light around the mirror. The sink didn’t drain well and couldn’t get toothpaste or soap to go down. Bed was comfortable and we slept well.
Breakfast was not good; eggs with no taste, there was no meat choice at all, and no bread of any kind for toasting, and coffee was empty for a while.

This stay was last minute after a 9 hour drive. Booking was seamless as was check in. My room was clean and spacious. It was across the hall from the fitness studio which was even more convenient. Breakfast was surprisingly good. They even had gluten free muffins. Check out was equally easy. I highly recommend this hotel.

If you travel a lot and really love EXCELLENT customer service, this is the hotel for you. The front desk staff is professional, kind, accommodating and efficient. We couldn't fit everything in our carry ons so we had to ship a few items back. They allowed us to leave the box and email the label once back home, which is what I did. Julie and Greg were especially helpful. But the whole front desk staff is amazing!
The only issue we had was with the housekeeping who just folded back the covers on the bed instead of MAKING the bed and changed the garbage trash bags. Did not replace the towels or bring another bar of soap, nothing was wiped down, cleaned or tidied up. It was pointless. Most housekeeping staff make it so you come into a refreshed room with beds made up, pillows fluffed, new towels and replenished items. We were disappointed but the overall stay was awesome!

Check in was fine. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. However, there were ants.
Also- our room had not been fully restocked- there were only bath towels- no hand or wash cloths, no soap or trash liners or toilet paper. This was easily remedied- I think the cleaner got distracted there at the end. Great location, and liked that check out was at noon.

The room (really, the entire facility) was very clean & presentable! Only issues I had is that the Room phone was not working & the sheets did not fit properly so it kept popping off the corner which is a bit of a pet peeve for me.

The hotel was super clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. However, I did have an issue with my room condition and the front desk was able to change my room.

Property was close to Liberty University which was great. The breakfast was horrible they took the oatmeal out and my husband requested it and they said they needed to take it down because it took so long to clean there was more than 40 minutes left for breakfast. We also saw a roach in the breakfast area. Other than that everything was great.

Upon arrival there were no rooms ready. When the room became available my room had a dirty shower curtain and liner. I didn’t have enough towels and when I asked the front desk they stated they were out and offered pool
Towels, no thank you. They were dirty as well. Another associates offered the floor bath mat towels. I stayed here because of my graduation and it was convenient and I thought it being a Marriott my experience would be better.

The Fairfield Inn was an excellent location to lodge at during my Lynchburg visit for the Virginia University of Lynchburg graduation. The staff were courteous and friendly in addition to my room and all areas of the hotel being pristine. I would highly recommend!

Elevator button broke the day we arrived. Staff was quick to get this serviced and fixed by the next morning. So only minor inconvenience. Room was very nice and clean.
