A little trip to the beach. This motel 6 is amazingly close to Marina state beach (close enough to walk), a Denny's restaurant on property and right next door to a Super Walmart and 7/11. All of the convenience you could ask for and the bonus of being right by the water.

Good stay for the weekend.. close to the beach..free coffee in the morning in lobby..clean property.. clean room and linens..many parking spots..motel is behind dennys and it felt safe

I'm not sure how this place has such high reviews, but staying here was not a great experience. The outside of the building looks nice from afar, but its not in the greatest of conditions. With it being a motel, however, I knew what to expect. The one thing I did NOT expect was the lack of cleanliness in the room. There were hair EVERYWHERE! Long black hair in almost every single towel. There were hair on the nightstand as well (right next to the card placed by the room service asking us to rate the cleanliness of the room). We were grossed out the entire time. I know it's a motel and you get what you pay for, but the most basic component that you want is a clean room, which is not what we got. Not staying here again.

ITs a very beautiful quant property, but the fail (for me) is the housecleaning. The rook had hair in the shower area from IDK how long, under the bed hadn't been swept, and when lying down on the bed, watching tv, i seen on the bookshelf there was still food crumbs on it.

The rooms and surroundings were so loud, it didn’t become quiet enough to asleep until 630am. Feeling so unsafe/uncomfortable, I checked out early and requested a refund. The bed was also very loud and uncomfortable anytime you move on it. Would not stay here again.

Minimal water pressure and minimal amenities with sketchy people around the property. Typical Motel 6 in a CA beach town. Won't stay here again.

I only stay here because the location. They don’t give you the toiletries and the way pressure is absolutely awful. They don’t have breakfast in the morning or anything to offer except for coffee and tea. But there is a Walmart, 7-Eleven and a Denny’s all right there so it makes it convenient plus the beach is just right up the street. I will however continue booking this hotel purely for the convenience but if you’re looking to hang out in your hotel room, I would suggest other places.

The staff and the surrounding amenities are great. The unfortunate issue was that the bed was too high off the ground. The pedestal and the mattress made it difficult to get into the bed easily. The grounds are nice, but they were not looked after. A half-inflated balloon was lying in the courtyard for the entire 3 days I was there. I picked it up and disposed of it. Their care for the customer by the staff was exemplary. They showed great care for my Service Dog as well. Having a large area to walk and care for my dog.
