Friendly staff, nice facility and accommodation.

The staff was incredibly friendly to me and my kids. The room was large and comfortable. The entire place was very clean. Perfectly located between the train/bus station and the shops, cafes and old docks. Finally the breakfast was absolutely huge with amazing variety. This hotel deserves 6 stars.

Very nice, sweet hotel, located in front of a lake, full of swans and seagulls. Very beautiful view from my window, I could see the lake, trees and the birds. It is located near the city centre, and also near the central train/bus station, so it is extremely easy to explore the city and find everything you may need. Also close to a supermarket and aphotek! The breakfast is amazing. Salmon, Hering, different types of cheese, very very good. It is easy to access the port to go on boat trips or the travel agencies to the fjord and hiking tours. The staff is kind and friendly. The room was definitely better than I was expecting, a giant TV, good bathroom, everything clean and fine. Very nice stay!

I wish I could give this hotel 100 stars. Staff so pleasant, courteous & friendly. Hotel spotlessly clean. Room had everything we needed. Bed very comfortable. Absolutely phenomenal breakfast choice - all included in price. Bus & train stations a 3 minute walk from hotel. Public transport is amazing in Stavanger - especially if you buy 24hr travel pass. Shops 5 minute walk, along with great restaurant/bar choices and the harbour. Can't wait to go back to this hotel again.

Centrally positioned, with easy access to all areas of Stavanger. This hotel is easily one of the best i have ever stopped in. Very good value for money.

After a shaky start--a small, cramped room for the first night--we ended up with truly superior room with a wonderful view of the lake Breiavatnet. Everything was very clean and excellently maintained, and the staff very helpful. The delicious Christmas breakfast buffet was a good start on the days. As the hotel is in the middle of town, we had easy access to shops and restaurants. We also were a short walk from our family's home. Will definitely stay there again.

The Thon hotel located on the beautiful lake side in a walking distance from the Stavanger bus terminal. Room was clean and tidy with good air quality. The breakfast provided is one of the best I have ever tasted in the hotel breakfast. People in the hotel are nice and happy to answer questions about the city and the hiking trips around the city.

The hotel was in a perfect location and was very easy to get to by public transport from airport. The room was lovely and clean. All staff were very nice. Breakfast was unbelievable…. catered for everyone! I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family, in fact, I already have. 10/10

Right in downtown, a great breakfast, a large room.

The property is in an easy walk to bus station, harbor, and catching the bus to hike. Only concern is it seems like the hotel rooms are in one long folded hallway with no apparent other exit route except the one through reception.
