Parking is terrible and tight. They use their best room for pictures on the site. River walk is diwn the path a 30 min walk, site says 1 min. Restaurant over priced for the quality of food.

Amazing but there was a wedding that was really noisy and took all the parking this small hotel.

Place is haunted and very creepy

Love this place. We stay here whenever we're in San Antonio. It's like your Cuban grandmother's well maintained historic home - but with a cool, artsy vibe too. Hotel staff is so nice here and will accommodate you however they can.

My daughters and I went on a girls trip. We loved the hotel because of the old atmosphere with modern comfort. Beautiful old wood, creaky stairs, an old warped mirror in the hall but with a great mattress, and very nice towels. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The basic coffee service in the morning only had powder creamer, but the coffee itself was very good.

The room was beautiful as well as the hotel itself. The front desk person was friendly and personable.
It was wonderful to have the a/c on before I arrived, especially since it was a very hot summer day. I would stay again

From the moment of arrival it looked nothing like the pictures, and extra added cost after arrival

We stayed at Hotel Havana while in San Antonio for a reunion and had an amazing experience! We loved the building's architecture and the cool decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ocho was absolutely wonderful and we really liked the Havana Bar. The whole place has an awesome vibe. We would definitely stay again!

This was a hotel stay that I'll never forget. It was the most beautiful place I've ever been. The second you walk in the door and the beautiful scent hits you I was engulfed in tranquility. It was so beautifully decorated and really spoke to my aesthetic. Our room was so comfortable and the bathroom was so cool! We had the Hemingway Suite and it was worth every penny. In the morning I went out and sat on the balcony and enjoyed soaking up the sun and hearing the river going by. Some people complain that you can hear everything happening in the hotel but to me I felt like that was part of the charm. It's a 100-year-old building! I liked all the creaky wood footsteps you could hear mixed with echoes of laughter. The bed was so comfortable I had to ask what it was and yes, I did order one for myself for my home. The young men at the front desk was so lovely and kind and helped with any and everything I needed. I honestly can't stop thinking about this place and how badly I want to go back. I'm already planning my birthday next year so I have a reason to come back down to San Antonio and enjoy this extraordinary place. Cool little bonus was at check in they give you free little mini Topo Chico's!

a beautiful hotel with so much history, when we were checking in a couple stated they were there for a haunted pod cast, did not know the history of the spirits. we only experienced lights flickering but from what i heard the activity is in the pent house floor. this is a much stay, wonderful customer service, exquisite restaurant and ambiance, and rooms exceptionally clean and comfy. great getaway or in our case anniversary weekend.

The ambience is all what you could hope for. Basement speakeasy is a mood -and the entire hotel will transport you to a liminal place in time. Wooden shutters on the windows and good quality snacks seal the deal on the charming room. Can’t wait to go back! Oh and the OCHO restaurant? Amazing food. Like seriously amazing

We had an awesome stay. Place is perfect. It’s far enough from the crazy busy areas of the river walk that you don't even notice all the kaos with people and traffic.

This is a FANTASTIC HOTEL! The employees are friendly and the place is like stepping back into old Cuba. The auditorium next door always has something wonderful going on. Or one of our favorites is going to the rooftop seating and watching old cartoons on the wall. It’s on the tail of the river walk and close to the downtown area with a nice little in and out without the downtown traffic once you get familiar with the area. We love staying in different rooms each time and we’ve stayed in four different beautiful rooms. I Highly recommend for a wonderful experience and I didn’t even mention the 5 Star Restaurant Ocho. Cheers

Close to river walk.
Didn’t like having to pay a fee to park the car.

Justin was the absolute best! He knows amazing customer service. We had a great time. The old world charm was just as I expected. Bathrooms definitely need an update. While I did not really enjoy the food at Ocho the drinks were perfect. I woyld stay here again. Great location on the less traveled path of the Riverwalk.

I love this hotel. The vibe is laid back, it's in a great location, the restaurant behind it is delicious. I felt welcomed as soon as i walked in the door. It's my favorite place to stay when i work in san antonio.

Our room was not ready at checkin when we really needed it, as we were only in for one night and needed to prepare for our event. The restaurant was not open and the staff gave poor support around helping us find some food, and they were unwilling to give us an hour of grace on check-out time even though they did not have our room ready for an hour at check-in. This is a funky hotel, and I supported the original vision for it and the initial creation of it, I understand they are now under new ownership. I would never stay there again based on the attitude and service of the staff and their unwillingness to make it right.

The hotel was ok. Our room was close to a bar and was very loud until about midnight. Definitely not family friendly.

Hotel Havana is a delightful hotel. It has real old charm. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is perfect, right off the Riverwalk, only a 10 minute walk to the crowded downtown area. I really enjoyed my stay there

We loved Hotel Havana! The concierge, Rudy, made our trip. He had amazing reccos for food and drinks. I requested a framed photo of Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights (Texas, Forever!) and legit, Rudy made it happen. We opened the door to our room and found photo of Tim Riggins on the bed. No joke. This guy was amazing.

I think for the money… we were charged over quite a bit for three nights, it did not seem reasonable. It’s an old hotel which is beautiful but things like the grout being black with mold in the shower, no kettle in the room for coffee or hot water, being on a busy street with limited buffering for noise control, an old radio (not blue tooth compatible) for which an aux cord was needed, no amenities (although there is a restaurant and bar attached that are cool) all added to my relative disappointment when compared to the price. If this hotel was less expensive I would have been satisfied (relative value to expected experience) but the discrepancy between the actual cost and the quality of stay was dissatisfying. On a positive note the bed was comfy and the staff was really friendly!!!!

This place is quirky and has a lot of character. Nice bar/restaurant - great food and drinks. My only complaint is that the items in the fridge are over-priced. I suggest they halve the prices.

Querky old style hotel, fabulous 30's architecture. No breakfast services, but free good coffee.33
