Very colourful, spacious and modern room. Nice space desk for work. Good location. Very happy with my stay at this hotel.

It was a wonderful hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location to explore the city. The staff were very attentive and we enjoyed dinner twice in the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel!!

This property is in an area that promotes walking as most places you want to see & do are mostly within 20 mins. The Jr. Suite was large & well equipped. The bed was very comfortable plus they give you a pillow menu. It was equipped w/a 2 burner stove, a mini fridge, glassware, flatware & dishes were provided. Also provided was a coffee maker. The breakfast buffet is well worth the 26 euro, but you could also order off a menu. The selection was beyond what I normally get w/an included breakfast. Staff were very helpful. I definitely would stay at the Madison again if I get back to Hamburg.

Rooms are much nicer than the photos suggest. Exceptional service. The Hamburg duck is such a quaint idea. Rituals toiletries. In a quiet part of Hamburg but close to all the tourist parts a short walk away. Perfect location.

Nice hotel in good location. Breakfast very expensive at 26 euros per person so went to backerei nearby instead. Reception staff not welcoming or helpful. Bar staff great.

Very nice property

The hotel was very clean. The room was huge and had lots of space. There was a mini-fridge, fancy coffee machine, & even a small 2-burner stove.

The wifi did not work in my room. The reception didnt seem to have any advice, or understanding of the problem.

We stayed at The Madison 2 days before and after for our 7 day cruise. Coming from the US, one of the concierge, Mr Fingers, prearranged obtaining info on a Christmas Oratorio at the nearby St Michael’s Church for us. We had many questions for him about transportation, nearby restaurants, taxi service to the docks and airport, etc. He eased our minds with responsive and timely answers before we ever left. This was our first trip to Europe and being seniors were concerned about many things. When we arrived at The Madison, the entire staff was helpful. The studio room was perfect for our needs. On Christmas Eve Day our cruise ship returned to Hamburg at 7:00 am. We returned to The Madison at 9:00am to store our bags until the 3:00pm checkin. They gave us our room immediately upon arriving which was so much appreciated. After attending a concert later in the day, we returned to our room to find a lovely Christmas basket of fruit and candies. We found the restaurant downstairs (Marley’s) very good. And across the street is The Amber Cafe which was great for soups, sandwiches and pastries. This hotel is highly recommended for cost and service.

I stayed at The Madison together with my daughter for three nights. We found the room to be very comfortable. The bathroom was in very good condition with a luxurious shower area that kept the rest of the bathroom floor nice and dry (surprisingly uncommon at hotels in my experience) and the cleaning was flawless. A big desk and fast Wifi was also much appreciated since this was a combined vacation and work stay. We paied extra for breakfast (although on the expensive side) and didn't miss anything from the breakfast buffet. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the dinner we had the first night, but there are other restaurant options within walking distance that I would recommend. The area just outside the hotel has nothing much to offer but you can reach the main shopping street by a fifteen minute walk and a nice area with lots of Portuguese restaurants is also within walking distance as is the boardwalk along Elbe and the metro station.

Hamburg is a city full of surprises. The Madison hotel was situated within easy walking distance of most of these attractions. The staff were friendly,approachable ready to share their knowledge of the city.I would recommend you stay there . Good all round experience

Very fine hotel, service and location

Modern, excellent facilities. Good location.

My wife kept asking me if we were in a 5 star hotel as it felt like it. The staff were very helpful not just at the front desk but in the restaurant as well. The breakfast was top notch. Our room was roomy, and the bed was very comfortable. The area around the Hotel is walkable, quiet and filled with business people Moms, Dads and their kids heading to day care or the park. Not industrial feeling at all. The Miniature Museum is within walking distance too and it is a pleasant walk. It's a 10 out of 10 for us.

Another great stay this time was really good weather was great the staff fantastic as usual even got me a hard mattress as I have a bad back and a hard pillow thank you soooooo much for that slept so good 😊

The hotel is situated conveniently for the U-Bahn, but is also walking distance from the city centre and Hafen-City attractions. There are good dining options in the nearby Portuguese Quarter (not just Portuguese restaurants!), as well as a good supermarket if you have a room with a kitchenette, as we did. The hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Staying 3 adults in one room, and it was a perfect size, and a brilliant base for exploring Hamburg. But we could not justify 3x€25 for our morning coffee, so a nearby cafe came to the rescue😁

Nice size room, well decorated. Enjoyed the music they had playing in our room. That was a first for us. Plenty of room for our "stuff" in the bathroom. And thanks for no rain shower head. We hate those...haha.
