The desk clerk was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The staff was terrific; made us feel welcome, particularly Andrew.
The breakfast was ok: sausage, TASTY. Eggs; they probably never knew a mother. Other options were standard, say make-your-own waffles and sugary cereals are not for me, but my wife likes them. (though the waffle iron timer stopped working) 8-ounce whole milk was good for cereal, cups of yogurt are nice to have.
I bring my own coffee (espresso) from home in a thermos for short stays like this, as I've never seen ANY hotel offer espresso for breakfast, so that's not an issue.
They have a small gym, which I was able to use one morning, it was adequate but welcome.
Overall, we were happy and will be back next time we travel back to the Raleigh-Durham area.
Oh yeah, an important point -- we were happy with the room rates.

My concerns were two…
The first was the extreme slipperiness of the bathtub. It would be a hazard to anyone not not paying very close attention .
The second was the difficulty in plugging in any electronic devices. The outlets were all loose and the plugs wouldn’t stay engaged. It wasn’t just one, but everyone of them in the room.
Other than these two issues, it was fine. I was there for a week so both were issues for me.

Great staff. Some of the rooms a lil run down as in wear and tear and age but housekeeping do a great job. Had a total of 4 rooms during my stay. Saw no bugs so that’s plus. If you need a place to sleep that’s affordable this will be it

Bathroom had hairs on the ground beds were not very clean room smelt of cigarettes when we first got there, we didn’t have to check out until 12 and cleaning ladies took out food from our room when we haven’t checked out yet and told us not to get on the beds even thought we hadn’t checked out yet and wouldn’t leave the room when we were trying to shower

We asked to move from this room due to the marijuana smell and the cleaning smell from trying to get out the marijuana smell. The room really smelled bad. The halls also smelled of marijuana. The room they wanted to move us to had a recliner that was heavily stained and a TV that was super small. The hotel is definitely showing it's age and the furniture need to be updated and the rooms deep cleaned.

Everything was great except for the food. The breakfast second day was inedible. First day it was not great, but it was edible (egg/omelette patties, and sausage patties), the second day (pork breakfast sausage and what should have been scrambled eggs) was horrible. Eggs were watery and grainy at the same time, and tasted really bad.

I stayed at this hotel as a last minute matter of convenience. Based on that it was adequate. The room I stayed in was well stocked with instant beverage packaging, and the machine to prepare them, but the carafe was missing. I informed the staff. I also informed them of the need to exterminate for the little brown visitors that did not pay to share the room with me 😜

Decent place to stay for one night. Was clean. Friendly check in & out. Breakfast available - basic free type with hot options (waffles, eggs, sausage). Juice was out 30 mins before end time.

When booking this flight, i was specifically looking for a shuttle service. My flight left at 6 am. When I arrived, I was informed that the service didn't start until 5 am. We are now expected to show up to the airport 2 hours early. This forced me to spend another $20 for an uber ride.

Hotel was clean, but the staff and customer service was lacking. Breakfast was poor and on both days they run out of food and there was no one supervising the food. so after looking for the front desk manager, she was able to find kitchen staff to refill eggs, juice, coffee and so on.
also when I asked about why they were not towels in my room, the front staff told he had to idea but I could take some from downstairs. I asked if someone from the cleaning crew could do than bc I was on my way out and I was told, he did not know if they were. So when I got back to hotel I had to ask for towels again and take them to my room

Shuttle service closed at 1pm on weekend at this location. Really inconvenient for weekend flights.

The hallways from the fourth floor had a strong sense of cigarette and weed smells. When I first came in the room, it was ok. The smell was the issue cause it smelled so strong and nauseating. Also, the chairs had stains that were disturbing to watch. Breakfast wise it was ok. The receptionist were ok.. Will I ever go back yes but only if they get rid of the odor smell and improve furniture.

My stay at the hotel was great. The staff was very helpful.
The man that does the cleaning around the hotel, his wife begged me for money. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I complained at the desk when I checked out. I felt like this is what she accustomed to doing when guests come to the hotel. It’s not a good look for the hotel at all. Please speak to her about this issue.

I have really enjoyed my stay at Wingate at Wyndham in Durham, North Carolina. My housekeeper, Theresa, has been exceptional, as has been Maria. Juletta (sp), at the front desk is a perfect example of your great front staff. And Benjamin, also at the front; has been very accommodating and pleasant.
I will remember Wingate very favorably and will count on them in the future, wherever I travel.
