$70 dolls for overnight parking insane

The Westin was so much better last year than this year,the one thing we loved about the hotel was the hospitality we had lastcyear, well they left it somewhere because it was horrible this year . No pool bar and service at the bar was terrible very snippy and in bad mood toward you . We will be goung to the Marriot next year.

Website says all fees will be charged upon check in. Woke up to multiple different charges on my bank statement the last day of my stay. They then couldn’t tell me what the charges were for. I knew the incidental fees are necessary, I fully expected that, but an additional 92 dollar charge they couldn’t explain to me upset me. They told me to call hotels.com for clarification. Will not return.

There is a big garage across the street to park in which was very nice. This place is very nice and clean and situated right on the river. Great for my first visit to San Antonio!

The website has misleading photos. We booked with this hotel because it had a bathtub. When we checked in a very rude and dishonest desk attendant (I apparently can’t name names but she has mid length blonde hair and her name tag says her passion is “motherhood”) said that they didn’t have rooms with bathtubs. She then changed her story and said they did have them in certain rooms. After 20 mins she sent us to a room she said did have a bathtub, but it did not. She then sent us to another room she claimed had a tub but it did not either. When we came back down, she was accompanying another unhappy customer to a room so we were assisted by another gentleman who sent us to a room with a tub. When we went to check out, I found daily up charges on the bill. We were being checked out by yet another man, however the dishonest front desk attendant was there. The man didn’t know what to do, and the dishonest front desk attendant, who was checking out another client butted in and told him we agreed to the up charges. This was an outright lie. She was not even behind the desk when we checked in! Ultimately a manager deleted the charges, but not what I expected for a FIVE star hotel. Shame on you dishonest front desk attendant (you know who you are). Lying is a despicable trait in customer service.

Loved my room, everyone was very nice. I would stay there again. Very quiet, loved the bed and pillows going on the web site to purchase the pillows.

The hotel is located on the Riverwalk with easy access to food, entertainment, and walkways. I stayed 2 days for business and an extra for pleasure. Due to this, I had two different types of bookings and a booking issue on my side. Dairys at the front desk was extremely patient and helpful navigating me through rebooking the stay and making sure I didn't have to change rooms. Everyone was extremely kind and polite. The bar had delicious drinks, valet was always available, and the room had multiple comfortable pillows.

The Westin is always great for us. We had a minor issue with the AC in our room but guest services moved us to another room that met our satisfaction.

In need of refurbishment, shower leaked water over the entire bathrooms and AC not able to cool the room, lots of humidity.

Hotel is as advertised. Parking is expensive in the city so do your research and read the fine print about in and outs. The balcony rooms definitely have humidity but your on a river in south Texas so it is to be expected! We had three balcony rooms and will definitely be back.
