Good central hotel

I often stay here when on business in Geneva due to its central location, super easy train from/to airport including very early flights. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but very comfortable, excellent quality mattress, and well isolated (no street noise despite the busy location in a room facing the cathedral). I did not have breakfast this time, but last time, the buffet offer was varied and fresh. The only thing they should improve (and seems to have decreased significantly since my previous stay) is the uneven quality of the reception staff. Some are super friendly and helpful, while (too) many and always the same, are on minimum effort mode: for ex barely looking at us and greeting, not even bothering to give us the room key close to where we are waiting and rather putting it on the counter in front of where they are standing. Even if it is just 1 meter away and a detail, it is an expected minimum attention to and respect for the client.

Great location for sightseeing . Clean and comfortable . The front desk staff kindly gave us 2 fans since it was so hot in our room .

Beautiful hotel with large comfortable room. Wall to wall, floor to ceiling glass in our 8th floor room gave incredible views of the city and the alps in the distance. Staff were responsive and friendly.

The check-in and check-out staff is so arrogant. I stay in this hotel frequently, and everything is good except the attitude of the staff.

It was alright although the breakfast was not up to the mark. In fact it wasn’t good. Another issue was noise due to nearby tram tracks.

My accommodation was on the eighth level and had a fantastic view of Geneva. The room was really clean, and the receptionist was quite friendly.

Hotel was across the street from the train station. Arrived before check in time but room was available so was given a room. Spacious room. Nice buffet breakfast is also peovided.
Area has lots of shopping and restaurants. Easy to walk to the lake. Lots of transportation options.

If you drive a car, please be reminded to direct yourself to the underground parking garage in front of the central station. Otherwise you will need to be detoured for another 12 minutes for parking.

Spectacular hotel, incredible panoramic rooms, beautiful lobby, impeccably clean, quite spacious, incredibly thoughtful touches (bath accessories, makeup mirror, drying bar, fridge, etc), large bath...and I honestly cannot think of a better way to see the city than from a room on the upper floors - the pic was my view. I've never heard of Fassbind hotels before but will look for them going forward.

This is an excellent hotel located 150 feet from the central train station. It is in great condition and the breakfast is good. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is that the room was very hot (in April) and there was no A/C controls in it. At night I had to open windows facing the railroad tracks so there was a lot of noise. If you decide to stay there, please ask for a room facing away from the trains.

The only suggestion I would give is to upgrade to allow USB charging. Excellent hotel, great staff and breakfast.

Pillows are far too soft. Rooms a little dated and in need of modernising however other wise a pleasant stay with no issues. Breakfast cost a fortune (19CHF) with small selection however what there was was nice. Need more sockets in the bedroom inc USB but that would come with modernising the rooms.

Hotel is located next to the train station and very convenient. Hotel staff were very accommodating our early arrival from US. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about.

Facilities are clean. The hotel is located in a safe place and very closed to the central station. There is underground shopping street, which can be accessed through the stairs in front of the hotel. There are a gym and a sauna on the basement floor. Please note, there is no toothbrush and slipper.

What a great hotel, I highly recommend. Even though it's right across from the train station it was incredibly quiet and cozy. Great breakfast! I would definitely stay again.

Very convenient, you can get the train direct to and from the airport, forget about taxis. Quiet.

Super clean well equipped room and decent breakfast with great views from the 8th floor. Check in and breakfast staff could not have been nicer. Check out staff not so good - wonder why? Very convenient for the station and for walking to the lake.
