Terrible aircon. I had to turn off as the cold air blowed directly to my head while sleeping. I could no sleep at all.Furthermore the Wifi is not working properly.

The Rex hotel very beautiful and the customer service is so great

On arrival, one of the bed sheets had what appeared to be bird faeces on it. Hotel staff immediately sent someone up to replace it but it should never have happened. Fortunately we took photos so there was no argument. Secondly we booked two rooms with 'city views', acknowledged in our booking confirmation from Expedia. Both rooms had windows looking straight out on to a blank wall. The manager did try to make amends by offering us new rooms but as we had arrived late in the evening, were leaving early the following day and had already partially unpacked, moving rooms would have been an even greater inconvenience. The manager did organise our transfer to the airport f.o.c but in reality this would have been less than $50 US. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a wonderful iconic hotel in HCMC. The staff are so helpful and pleasant which made our stay so enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and confidently recommend this hotel. Also, the buffet breakfast and rooftop bar are great.

We were upgraded to a balcony but it was very noisy. The beds were very comfortable and room very clean. Staff were efficient and friendly. A grand old building still holding its own.

it is at district 1 which is a prime location. partly old hotel and partly new shopping area ( premium brands) breakfast very crowded
