Room was clean and a decent size. There is a shuttle that takes people to the airport on the hour for an additional $15 per person. Hotel is not close to the airport but there really aren’t any hotels that are. Location is walkable to restaurants, shops, grocery store in Freising.

Hotel Airport shuttle was an extra charge (15 euro per person) was not identified until everyone was on the shuttle and luggage loaded on when getting ready to leave for airport. Then driver explained to everyone on the shuttle there is an extra charge. When I let front desk know I needed shuttle the next morning they did not say it would be an additional charge.

Nice hotel in Freising, near airport. We opted to stay here so we could take a quick taxi (arrived afternoon and leaving next morning) and airport shuttle the next day. (Munich hotels were also very expensive because of Adele concert). We enjoyed a nice 6 minute walk to the town center to eat Bavarian food and my daughter enjoyed the pool. Note—get towels from the front desk because no towels in pool area. Breakfast and shuttle were very nice quality. We’d stay here again if we were traveling to airport by shuttle or rental car.

Coffee in the rooms would be nice or at least consistently have it available in the lobby. Breakfast included in the cost would also be helpful. But other than those things it was a great stay.

Smell in the hallways was very poor and the checkin process was the slowest that I ever experienced. Food options in the restaurant just soso and the breakfast didn’t have a nice selection either

I would just say that the property itself is fine. It's stated that it's an airport hotel but it's at least 20+ minute drive from the airport. The shuttle is not free, costs 15 Euros each person one way. There was someone getting arrested when we checked in which wasn't great. I've been down to the front desk twice to get some information only to find nobody there. This was before midnight so staff were around, just elsewhere. I waited more than 10 minutes for someone to appear. When I called the front desk to ask about check out times several calls went completely unanswered. So not great.

Waited two hours for pick up shuttle. Ended up taking a cab for €35
Confusion over pick up too. Told at the desk that it would not be a taxi but a hotel shuttle. It was not. It was a taxi. No air conditioning in room. At least it wasn’t working and was 26 degrees.
Restaurant was lovely and service there was great. Check in was great but not much empathy re shuttle. Given a €10 free coupon for restaurant.

Clean hotel with nice rooms. Courteous staff. Had to stand in long line to check in, took 45 minutes. Hotel is a 18 minute drive from the airport, so not close as I am accustomed to. Marriott does not provide a complimentary shuttle. They sub out the shuttle to an independent contractor. I ordered a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but he never showed. I had to pay a cab 50 Euro's to get to the hotel. The shuttle back to the airport the following morning cost my wife and I another 30 Euros.

Check-in was catastrofic, as they had given our room to some other family. They had also over-booked the hotel for that night. Finally we got a room, but it was smaller than the one we had booked; only two beds for three persons. However, the personnel were doing their best and we also got compensation for the hassle

My stay was fine but the fact that it is called Munich Airport Hotel is false. I was dismayed to find it a big taxi fare ride from the airport and even the hotel shuttle back to the airport was another 15 Euro. I expect an airport hotel to be onsite at the airport or a mile or two away. This was a 20-30 minute drive from the airport. It should not be called an airport hotel

Aging hotel with several flaws. Strange smell in all corridors, one of the pillows had a bad rotten smell, and additionally, some of the staff were smoking outside our window.

Our room was not clean. Some of the towels hanging on the rack were visibly dirty. This hotel is not on the airport, but in a small town 20 min away from the airport.

I had no idea such a pretty town was nearby. A great place to have walking access to food as well as the oldest brewery in the world and also easy to the airport.

This hotel is too far from the airport even thought they claim to be an airport hotel.
They even do not provide a paid shuttle to airport after 10 am!! You have to use a taxi!!

Restaurant food was delicious. There was significant confusion with the airport shuttle. While it did not affect my schedule, there were other guests for whom this was an issue. I didn't have clear information about how to summon the shuttle to the airport so I ended up taking a taxi for my stay. This hotel is very consistent with the Marriott brand so it met my expectations in every way. The only downside was that I had no way to charge my phone in the room since the USB ports were not live.

The biggest surprise because they advertise an airport shuttle is there is no airport shuttle. It is only taxis for 35 euros each way! Also the sheet smelled like they were not well washed. The smell of someone who just came off a 14 hour flight
