I love to stay at Marriott properties. I chose this property for the location, price, indoor pool, and breakfast. Walking in, the property looks great. Summer was super friendly. I went to room 1 and saw stains on the couch and ottoman. The bathroom had mildew all over the walls and ceiling. Summer kindly gave us a new room. Room 2, still stained couch and ottoman and this time the mildew is on the tub fixtures. However, we grew to see the toilet didn't flush correctly. Imagine how i found out. we found out around 9/10pm. I told the young lady at the front desk. Her response was "I can give you a plunger so you can fix it." ...... I kindly explained that I wouldn't not be fixing a toilet on my vacation and advised that she can simply change my room. She did. Room 3 the bathroom ceiling had paint peeling. At this point I'm over it. We did not stay the third night that was PAID FOR. I drove all the way back home after our fun day.

The hotel is decent at best. Pros: Staff were very friendly; breakfast was consistently good each day with something for everyone; beds were cozy, suite was spacious; working ice machines on each floor; complimentary tea and coffee 24/7 but hot water is removed for the tea at night. Room TVs were great and they auto sign you out of streaming services which is great. Cons: No place to fill water bottles when buffet was closed. The gym dispenser gives lukewarm water. Hotel is in need of major upgrades. Rooms have less than fresh smell upon entry but you get use to it. One bed's blanket had two small stains on the corner like old blood. Pillow case had brown spots on it and some towels were flat out dirty. Pool was closed during entire stay. Minimal parking spots on weekend. Random fire alarm one night that had everyone outside with the kids in pajamas for quite a while. Only one working elevator so mornings were quite the wait. Bathroom had loads of old stains on tiles and tub and baseboards were a wreck. My husband showered with shoes on. We went to visit the theme parks so we spent minimal time in the room. We did appreciate the extra space for a party of 5. Everyone had their own space and the sofa was large enough to not even need to pull the bed out. Plenty of outlets but again, the place could really use some upgrades.

The staff service at night was not good, the person in charge couldn’t help us with a problem we had in our room.

It was awful the service wasnpoor the room was dirty with stains on the beds both of them them blankets were filthy.

The staff has been amazing, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient, kind. The breakfast is good tasting and filling. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff was always very welcoming. While the continental breakfast had lots of options, the spacing of the food was sort of awkward and items would run out quickly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Love room size and the separate area with couch to watch Tv & eat. Great setup to relax instead of sitting on bed

Excellent hotel, We arrived around midnight, we call and the front desk prepared all our rooms, they made the check in and gave our keys , so that we arrived direct to our rooms. Love the attention and the service. The breakfast very good.

Nice location, near food options.

Staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our quiet stay. However the condition of the hotel shows maintenance is needed. Examples: The lobby chairs were stained from spills. Our room had a water soaked carpet. Positioned well to the historic sites and restaurants.

My stay at the hotel was exceptionally pleasant due to its kind staff and convenience. The room was clean and provided a comfortable environment allowing for a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances. Additionally, the hotel's location made it incredibly convenient to get to local attractions, and a variety of dining options within walking distance. Overall, the hotel provided a perfect blend of comfort and practicality, making my family’s stay very enjoyable.

The customer service was great

After checking in I learned that the hotel pool and hot tub was closed because broken The Hot tub was one of the reasons I choose this hotel Price didn't change, should have been $40 less Williamsburg hotels are missing EV charging stations The one at Best Western has been broken for 5 years I offered to replace it and got no response

For a hotel advertised as newly renovated it seemed that they did not do a very good job. The lobby had worn spots in the wall, some of the lighting was missing. The front desk person (Donnet pierce) was excellent as was Lisa in the breakfast staff

Great experience no complaints

We always try to stay here when we come to Williamsburg, which is several times a year. My only complaint is that they are not pet friendly.

It was a great hotel, checked all the boxes! Even the breakfast, specifically the scrambled eggs, were delicious.

Liked free breakfast however limited staff and housecleaning. Had to call for towels and never had bed made or sheets changed. Overall fair.

This was the most friendilest, cleanest hotel i have ever stayed. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, clean and quiet.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. The hotel was a little rundown and our room was just average.

This is a recently renovated property, everything was nice. Staff was extremely courteous. Had nice breakfast and nice complimentary snacks thru the day
