A beautiful Hotel right outside the wall of Visby. Walking distance to everything and to the public transportation.

The hotel is well located for the port and town, and it’s a solid Best Western, upper three stars in my view. Comfortable rooms of fair size, nice and modern. Obviously very clean rooms and all working like in Sweden.
But there were several problems with the service. For checkin there was a long line and only one lady at the desk, who had trouble finding my booking (the self checkin machine didn’t work). Usually there was one person at the desk and sometimes nobody.
The worst thing is that when we asked what time breakfast starts, the lady said 6:30 am. So as we had a ferry to catch, she oriented as to order a packed breakfast. coming downstairs just before 6 am, we were shocked that breakfast was already being served. This means that because of the incorrect information from that lady, we missed breakfast, and I should get compensation for that.
On the other hand, when I told her that I had taken the souvenir sheep from the room to add to my bill, she did nothing and did not charge me…

Location right next to Old Town and also very near to cruise terminal was perfect. Our room at 4th floor had nice round window and great seaview to watch the sunset.
One recommendation to the hotel, you could invest air conditioning to cool the rooms, we had a little too warm for perfect sleep.

The location was superb. We were able to walk everywhere in Visby and were very close to the ferry back to Nynashamn.

The hotel was well placed just outside City walls. The room was OK but no hot water in sink although the shower was fine. Reception not very professional but breakfast very good. Room clean and comfortable but paint work on walls scuffed and could have been easily cleaned. All in all OK but not special.

It is a bit run down (hallway carpets and hardwood floors). Good breakfast. Curious that there was only a hand soap dispenser in the bathroom: no shampoo or conditioner. We had to purchase them at the ICA nearby.

They tried to take 200 kr more than promised in the booking and then thought we had a dog staying with us (which then would cost 200 i assume?) but they corrected it when I showed the booking details in the app. The rest of the stay was good. 👍

The staff were kind and attentive.
Also, I was very satisfied with room make-up.
The buffet for breakfast was various and delicious.
Overall, all were perfect. So this hotel is highly recommendable.👍👍👍

Arrived with the ferry after midnight and had received a code for the main door to enter since reception had closed at 22:00. The code didn’t work and the support (I called BW) couldn’t help either. They verified the code we had was correct. After an hour (02:00) we persuade BW to let us change hotel to BW Strand which had an open reception. The next day I was informed the code had changed but it was not communicated to us nor the support.
The day after again we had to change rooms since BW had checked out on our stay, but our belongings were still inside the room. The reception spent 10min looking for a post-it note about the hotel change to understand we had moved to BW strand. BW internal communication could be better.

Nice hotel, clean & comfort. Nothing fancy. Quiet area & great location. Breakfast was simple, fresh & very good. Service was good. We were very happy with our stay.

Nice hotel with excellent location just nearby the Visby old town. Lovely room and excellent breakfast. Only minus was that our room didn't have airconditioning, so the room will probably be very hot during hot summer days. They are not that well prepared for kids as guests, for example no potty available.

Friendly helpful staff at reception. If you get there in time free parking right outside. If you come later, a fee for guarded p in the backyard. Got a room in a separate house with a garden. It has plenty of tables and chairs for guests. If weather allows you can have breakfast on the terrace outside. Hotel is right at the medieval wall around Visby.

Great location, helpful staff and a very comfortable extra bed in the room. Other hotels only offer cots or pull out sofas but this was a very comfortable way to share a room with my parents without suffering through the night.

I had a room overlooking the harbour, which treated me to some beautiful evening views of sunsets over the Baltic. If you can, try to order a room on the third floor (called "Utsikten" - The View) facing the sea.
